Mettere in programma, in un tour indipendente di una giornata - sulle sette che sto trascorrendo in Cappadocia, con l'ambiziosa idea di batterla palmo a palmo - tre città sotterranee è qualcosa di vicino a una follia. Ma se si riesce ad uscire non troppo affaticati e/o frastornati da un simile sforzo da globetrotter, una certa dose di autostima e soddisfazione la si ricava. Resta il problema di dover operare una comparazione fra le esperienze fatte, per giunta una di seguito all'altra perché le distanze sono limitate, e non è una decisione facile da prendersi. Dopo adeguata ponderazione, ad Ozkonak assegnerei un punticino in meno, perché è la meno vasta e quindi un po' meno interessante delle altre. Anche se resta su un alto livello.

A experiência é incrível, indescritível imaginar como era possível viver em um local com passagens tão baixas e estreitas e como era tão organizado. É tudo relativamente bem estruturado, para comportar os diversos grupos que chegam a todo tempo (inclusive com iluminação), mas é altamente contraindicado para quem sofre de claustrofobia.

I loved the experience, everything underground was left the way it was thousands Kd years ago, but it was not for people who had difficulty walking, there were areas where you literally had to really bend and crawl to get to the other side

28/08/2022 Özkonak Underground City is an underground city that every enthusiast should visit for these adventures. We visited five underground cities in Cappadocia, each one is unique and mysterious. I recommend to visit, even for people, who manage their claustrophobia from narrow dark corridors and tunnels, at least like me... We carry a strong light with us. While smaller than the other touristed underground cities, Özkonak gives you a good feel for how the people used and occupied these spaces. The engineering behind their defensive structures was very impressive, and easy to understand. A great advantage of Özkonak is that it isn't at the top of the tour bus list (because of it's modest size). A disadvantage, however, is that they don't practice any form of traffic control... visitors have to take it upon themselves to know when to squeeze through these narrow passageways. Unfortunately for us, a group of 30+ tourists came into the small chamber we were exploring and made it quite difficult to get out! Nevertheless, well worth a visit.

Nuestro guía Oguz nos llevó a la ciudad subterránea y nos explicó un montón de cosas súper interesantes, además de contarnos cómo fue descubierta la ciudad por el propietario de esas tierras , que todavía vive y tiene sin negocio ahí . Oguz es lo más de lo más !!
