Gallipoli Troy Tour

We were a group of 6 & picked up from hotel & taken on tour of Troy & Gallipoli.
Local knowledge terrific nothing too much trouble. Both guides fabulous. Adem’s knowledge of Gallipoli battles great, helped locate great uncle’s grave. No hesitation in recommending.

The pickup was very early in the morning (3:45am) and was not included in our booking from our hotel! The balloon excursion was in a remote valley surrounded by farm land and not near the tourist areas of Goreme and Monks valley!

Private Gallipoli Tour- a must do for every Australian
As Australians, we wanted a tour of Gallipoli that would be at our own pace and provide us with the history of what the Anzacs experienced over 100years ago.

With the help of Ilker Olcaydu, we got exactly what we wanted.

We were collected from Istanbul airport via private car & arrived in Canakkle 3hrs later. Our accommodation- Hotel Artur was perfect. Simple yet clean and perfect location. We explored the area that afternoon on our own.

The next day, we were collected by the guide, Baris and we went on the ferry across to Gallipoli. We spent 7hrs driving around to different memorials. This was a private tour and having that quiet time to reflect on what had occurred over 100years ago was amazing.

The final day, we went back to Gallipoli ourselves to visit a fortress which was within walking distance from the ferry. We left at lunchtime and our driver transported us back to Istanbul.

Highly recommend organising a private tour. You can not walk or visit without a tour guide due to the distance from ferry & between sites. We went to memorials that the major tour groups don’t do. We could have easily done another day, visiting all the other memorials we missed due to time.

Highly recommend booking your tour of Gallipoli with Pupa Tourism.

Ilker best tour guide

I went to Cappadocia for the first time in 2022, & I fell in love with the place. Aside from the beauty of the country, it was Thanks to our great guide ILKER OLCAYDU who works for Pupa Travel. He is a caring & knowledgeable tour guide, that goes the extra mile for you.
I highly recommend Pupa Travel & their best tour guide Ilker .

Treated like royalty!

Ilker Olcaydu was our personal travel planner and he was fantastic, especially since I was booking very last minute tours and I reached out to 3 very reputable agencies including g Pupa and they were the most responsive- especially with the California-Türkiye time difference. Their drivers, hotels and tour guides were top notch! I’m addition to this tour they were able to customize for us and add 3 days at a luxury resort- Barut Lara as well as adding the Ancient City of Troy. I asked for fun cultural experiences and got a fashion show in a leather wholesaler, silk rug weaving, great restaurants and amazing hospitality everywhere we went. When we wanted to change course a few times during our vacation, it was no problem. We truly felt taken care of and we highly recommend this travel agency to anyone who has worked hard and knows they deserve to be treated like royalty on their vacation!

One of best trips ever !! Beautiful country and impeccable service. Our tour guide Ilker was incredibly knowledgeable, very patient with the whole group, and provided great suggestions for places to eat and visit . He arranged for a private yacht to the Bosporus. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you Ilker !!!

An Experience to never forget!

Travelling to Turkey was just not a vacation for us. It was an opportunity for the family to reconnect and reflect on the precious togetherness that we have! Pupa Travels not only provided the comfort and best of hospitality, but they gave us an opportunity to be part of Turkish culture. Mustafa and his team set a benchmark in what they do. They took care of our trip from end to end. They are very well read and went to great lengths to not only make the trip pleasant for us and it won’t be undermining to say that we made great friends! They showed us a very different Turkey rich in culture, food, art, and its people. We wouldn’t doubt even for a millisecond to recommend them for their services. We will not hesitate to come back again and again!!

Cappadocia and Ephesus

We organized the Cappadocia (3 days private) and Ephesus (1 day private) part of our trip with Edip at Pupa Travel. Edip was also our tour guide and we found him to be extremely knowledgeable with stories and background history that brought the ancient sites to life for us.
We didn't have to worry about anything except where to eat dinner in Cappadocia (which was easy).
For Ephesus, we stayed at the Charisma Deluxe Hotel where an incredible breakfast and dinner buffet was included. All transport, lunch, tickets to sites included in the price, very nice and so easy.

Red tour & Green tour
Abbiamo partecipato ai due tour della durata di una giornata con pick up alle 10,00 e rientro circa per le 17,00.
Red tour ci ha portato in punto panoramico sopra Goreme, visita di circa 1 ora e mezza al Goreme open air museum (ingresso dark church a pagamento extra ma merita), pranzo a buffet compreso nel tour (bevande escluse), visita a negozio che produce ceramiche artigianali con dimostrazione e possibilità acquisto (bellissime ma assolutamente fuori budget), punto panoramico, Imagination Valley e rientro.
Green tour, piû lungo e piû lontano, ci ha portato in un altro punto panoramico a Uchisar, visita alla bellissima città sotterrana di Kaymakli (una delle tre piu importanti in
Cappadocia, con lunghi tunnel dove si procede accovacciati a terra, non molto adatto se claustrofobici), trasferimento nella Ihlara Valley, dove abbiamo pranzato sull’acqua (bevande escluse), per poi fare una camminata nella vale e bere qualcosa in un locale con tavoli nel torrente. Nel rientro sosta ad azienda che produce gioielli, con possibilità di acquisto. Infine rientro per le 18,15 circa.
Stessa guida per i due giorni, bravo e simpatico, parlava un buon inglese.
Consigliati entrambe i tour.
