Great day out

Really surprised how good this was. Children under 12 were free and adults 20 AED for entry to the whole desert park. There is a children’s farm, botanical garden, natural history museum (well worth visiting) and the wildlife park. All indoors and really beautiful. Loved it and will be back.

Great place for children

Children can enjoy the 3 areas. It was a good experience. There is domestication area, museum, and something else. Very nice

Amazing Family place.

It's an excellent place to introduce children to animals. The children farm is captivating for children. The wildlife area is excellent to learn about the conservation efforts of UAE and wildlife in general. The botanical garden and natural history meseaum are excellent to learn about the plants of the region. I highly recommend it for families and everyone.

Love the idea that its a covered zoo park. It contains a good number of animals from The Arabian peninsula. Yet, I wonder why there is no section dedicated for the wild birds (arabian Falcons, Owls, Gulls ..etc.). Given its founded in 1999, I think more innovation is required now.

The tickets give you the option to visit 3 spots on the same day, this is the most interesting part. Good for the kids ..

Had been there a couple of times with children. Good place to walk around and see animals and birds in summer heat also. Very relaxing walk and to learn about the nature.

Worth visiting this place as you will enjoy 4 parks in one place. The best part is you can visit again in case you won't be able to complete all parks on the same day.

Sad and depressing

Very sad. I thought this would be a safe place for local endangered animals, but many are not at all native to the area. I wonder how these poor creatures got here? Surely it was extremely traumatic to be taken from say, Africa to Sharjah! And there are some big animals, like cheetahs, that should never, ever be locked in cages. No wonder they looked so depressed. I regret paying money to see these animal prisoners.

Artificial lightning badly affects animals mental health

Animal are taken from their natural habitat and closed in small cages. Is that animal protection? Artificial lightning and day-night cycling for nocturnal animals disrupt theirs internal timekeeping system and adversely affects theirs mental health. They could create better conditions for endangered species.
