Time for an all inclusive five point review
1. The place : Decent park, good for family picninc.. 3/5
2. Activities : Speed boating, kayaking, family boat rides (all decently priced) lots of kids activities nearby (trampoline, cars, splash park etc.).. 4/5
3. Dining : Decent options. from cafeterias to grills to Indian. You get all. 3/5
4. Crowd : On weekends it does get crowded (kayaking queues are too long) but not mucj waiting in other activities. So not that big an issue. 3/5
5. Overall : A decent place for a weekend out (on a budget) with enough things to do. 3 out of 5 (My 3 stars are pretty good generally)

Well organized, well developed, good for everyone, family with kids can enjoy playground or biking. Solo, couples, friends can enjoy cafeteria viewing a nice water view. I was there about 6pm a little before sunset, it was a great time to visit because the weather is cool and breezing. You can enjoy a beautiful sunset.

This is a lovely place to place,especially after sunset as otherwise this place is too very hot.There is a very lovely cushioned walking track and many restaurants and eateries there for you to enjoy yourself. I would definitely recommend it.

its a beautiful place with a lot of restaurants and cafes.. you can also watch spectacular dancing water fountain daily from 8p.m onwards...there is a play area for kids of every age...A splash park also...skating area just facing the corniche...in the morning best for exercise and jogging as it has a jogging track...mist visit place in sharjah

al majaz one of the best places i've visited in sharjah. but they are not using its value.. i mean they have a good waterfront and have a poor quality water fountain. it is a main attraction in al majaz. i think its a good one in starting and because of bad maintenance its like that now. me and all other visitors excited to watch when it's starting the water dance but all are disappointed after watching it.
im sure that if they care about the water fountain more people will visit that place. because mouth publicity is a best review in the world.

Excellent waterfront corniche. Lovely place for a a good walk. Jogging track is available. It has the biggest musical water fountain in sharjah.

Evening walk, food, music water fountain, play area for kids, park , golf, museum, cycling, name it. You will find it all in Al majaz. Great spot for friends and family.

A must visit place in Sharjah. it has a good diversity of restaurants and cafes. it has more than one playing areas. always clean. because its localted over a lake and has a small dancing fountain over the lake. I always enjoy my daily walking there especially in winter time.

Никакого лазерного шоу мы не видели. Речь шла о цветомузыкальных фонтанах. Они работают в темное время суток каждые полчаса по 5 минут. Мы были там 27.12.2016г.
Происходит это на Al Majaz Waterfront возле мечети.

There is a children park directly opposite the waterfront surrounded by grassy areas but it never seems to be open? Does anyone know the opening times? and is there a fee to use the playing area?

Hi, all I can say it that when my wife and I went to the water front we were always surprised to see so many kids playing around, as far as we know the park is always open, there is a special area where kids can play with some water games and as far as we know this is always open, but mainly in the late afternoon we saw a lot of kids playing and late in the evening, this country does a lot for its children it might well be that during the midday the area is closed, it depends on what time of the year you are there, as we all know it can get very hot during the day, so it might well be that some areas are opened late in the afternoon, I hope this was a help for you.

"Al Majaz Waterfront искусственно созданная Лагуна Халид со всех сторон окружена небоскребами и высокими зданиями с живописной зеленью, на которой можно прекрасно отдохнуть и залюбоваться светомузыкальным фонтаном, который работает с 19.00 каждые 30 минут. Вокруг него много отдыхающих, ждущих увлекательное шоу в кафе, ресторанах и просто сидящих на лавочках и зеленных газонах
Вода в номере пополняется? Использование мини-холодильника платное?В гостинице "Золотой тюльпан" Вода пополнялась без оплаты, как и холодильник
