This beautiful and historical house is ruined by a high-pressured jewellery business.
The owner is very nice, but it’s clear his full intention is to sell you silver jewellery. He rushed us through a tour of the house, not giving us any opportunity to actually admire it. However he put on a very hard sell until a member of our group purchased a ring.
He claims the silver is real, but I would be very surprised if it actually is.

It was honestly a beautiful way to have a look in an ancient Vietnamese house. The carvings, decorations and craftmanship were impeccable. But the most amazing part is the handmade silver jewellery. Seashells were used as the "gems", but you can also find a variety of actual gemstones like jade etc. And the owner is polishing your own silverware for free too. My own jewellery looked like new again!And this is all done with the biggest friendliest welcome EVER! We were given tea, cookies and homemade ice cream when we were waiting for our jewellery to be polished. Would recommend 10/10!!!!

We are a family from the US & this hotel mat all of our needs in Hoi An. We had two adjoining rooms. The staff at the front desk was helpful in arranging transportation, changing money, and suggesting sites to see. We used the free bikes they offer every day. Breakfast was included & we enjoyed it very much. Facilities were all clean.

Esta casa antigua del casco histórico esta excelentemente conservada y os aconsejo visitarla. Sus propietarios son encantadores y muy amables. En su interior tiene montada una tienda por si quieres comprar algo.

This is a really great experience, with interesting family history and truly lovely and welcoming people.
There is lots of very nice jewelry to buy as well, though we didn't feel pressured at all. They even polished a ring we already had using their fascinating vintage tools and regional techniques!

Visited the ancient house in February 2020 and loved all the beautiful handmade jewellery. Ended up spending about £60 on a necklace and 2 rings only to now find it is not real silver and is very poor quality as all the silver has rubbed off to reveal a black material underneath the silver. Very disappointed.

Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, insbesondere die Damen an der Rezeption sind zu erwähnen.
Das Hotel ist ruhig, sehr schön begrünt und die Zimmer sehr sauber und grob. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar noch eine Aussendusche. Das gute Frühstück rundet das Gesamtbild ab.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This was the most beautiful old house which I have seen in Hoian. The family guides you through their private home and tells you lots of their history and life. At the end of the tour you can get inspired in their souvenir and gift shop. Also here you find a very fine selection of give aways & handmade jewelry. It was so great talking to you guys and learn more about your culture! Thanks a million 😊

We came across this ancient house by chance , it is very close to where we were staying( onion homestay) Fascinating place to visit , once inside it s really quite big it’s a surprise . The family that live here give you lots of information about the house they are really friendly and offer fabulous hospitality. It’s a free visit with a donation box available if you want to donate , no pressure. They do have a gift shop which they are keen to show you with a wide range of prices. We loved it.

Molto carina e tipica con entrata gratis. Peccato che i proprietari , che comunque sono carinissimi e t spiegano tante cose, cerchino di venderti con insistenza i loro prodotti artigianali.
