Great quality and such friendly service. I had a large overnight bag made completely to my specifications and the workmanship and quality is excellent. It was turned around to suit our timeframe and was exceptionally well priced. Highly recommend. They also have an excellent, well priced driver with a very comfortable vehicle to get you around the area. I will definitely head back during my next trip to Hoi An.

I had a vision of what I wanted my bag to be like and they executed it perfectly. Really good quality leather. They even delivered it to the hotel in another city. Kept in touch all the time. Honest and not pushy! I also met the owner of the Friendly shops which was nice because it was good to hear how she got into in the custom-made bag and shoes. Really genuine people.

I was initially hesitant to get a bag from them but the “no like = no pay” policy really got me. i took a chance and ordered a custom bag from them and it was really perfect! I liked it and i paid 😉

I am belatedly writing this review. Last year, I wanted to have a bespoke briefcase made based on an existing bag I had. I was extremely happy with the result and the level of service all around. The quality, value for cost, timing, professionalism and attention to detail were all amazing. I would especially like to highlight the professionalism. I worked with Na and she provided a thoughtful walkthrough of the process (i.e, what aspects of the bag they could replicate, what they could not, and suggested modifications to ensure a better result) and she made careful note of all of my requests. The result was a beautiful and durable bag made to order in just a couple of days. I look forward to having more bags made the next time I am in Hoi An.

Love our bags! Got 2 overnight bags and a laptop bag. Staff were extremely helpful, spoke great English and super friendly. Bags were made to order and delivered to our hotel. Quality is great. Would highly recommend Friendly Bag place

A quick google when I arrived here led me to choosing this place.
Great service, helped me customise a leather overnight bag.
Chose outside leather,buckles and zips,aswell as interior material
Excellent quality, quick turnaround, a good warranty (untested) at a great price!

Na was so lovely. She helped me recreate a tanned bucket bag that I had back home within 24hrs!! She was very patient when I was looking at all the leather swatches and made great recommendations. I use my bag everyday for work and have received many compliments. Awesome place, 5 stars!

This is my 2nd visit to the friendly leather bag shop, this visit i had a leather backpack, two handbags, a wallet and belts. My friend had a satchel, wallets and a belt made, all from our specifications. Na helped us through this process, she is so patient and knowledgable and provided some good suggestions. The quality of the bags is amazing and we are so happy with our purchases. If you want great service and quality leather products, then definately make a visit to this shop! We will be back next year!

It really depends on what you're wanting and it will vary depending on the quality of the leather / how many pockets / lined or not etc.
As an example a single layer leather belt is US$15 but double layer is US$30. I bought double layer and it's exactly what I wanted. My daughter had a travel wallet copied from a vinyl one she liked. It was US$80 but large and lots if sections and we liked it so much we had a second one made for a friend.
