Directly in front of the head, there is a set of stairs just below to get up there (the lift wasn't working). The heat is real and the water will get you wet. Some people obviously knew and put up their umbrellas, we just enjoyed the spray

1. The Da Nang airport is within the city precinct so a taxi ride to your hotel will not cost a great deal, I would think less than 150K VND (there will be a 10K VND airport tax added). I generally use the green Mai linh taxis or the green and white Vinasun, but the yellow taxis are also quite good and more abundant. If you are really desperate to save a dollar or two you can ask someone to call a Grab (ie Uber equivalent) or download the app using the airport wifi if you have a smart phone or tablet etc 2. Ba Na Hills is somewhat like Disney land and almost by definition is not a budget place. I'm not sure how adults could spend 3 days there especially in February when it will be quite cool and anyway the weather in Da Nang at that time will be very pleasant, although I suppose it depends on where your from. Ba Na is a great escape in Summer due to the cooler climate, but I doubt it has the same appeal in winter, but I've never visited in winter. If you have children from 4 to 16 they'll love it at anytime. 3. Sorry I've never stayed at Da Nang Riverside, but if you have river views it should be pleasant. If you're on the other side of the building you might possibly get beach views if on a high level, but there are so many high rise buildings going up along the beach front. It is a long walk to the beach 4. It depends what you're use to, but I find the weather very pleasant in February - not too hot and cools down at night. I think its around the low to mid 20s in the day, but you can find this on the web somewhere 5. You can get a Sim at the airport, I haven't done it for a while, but the Sim card itself isn't very expensive, it depends what plan you get and whether you want data, international calls etc. If you don't get it at the airport there are also plenty of mobile phone shops. I've found over the years Vinaphone, Mobiphone and Viettel are all reliable. Actual phone calls are not very expensive and I pay as I go with 100K VND cards (available everywhere) that last me about 2 to 3 weeks, but of course it depends on how many calls you make Just a couple of other things - you should check your travel time against the dates for New Year (Tet). Vietnam virtually closes down over 10 days or more during this period and it's not the best time to travel. Also I love the beaches in Da Nang, but from December to about March they are at their worst - not very inviting at all; an amazing contrast to the summer months.

Actually question best answered by Air Asia but typically 3 hours is sufficient for such transfer. You hope there is no flight delay out of Danang. Also do let the flight Supervisor know of your connecting flight and they could help look out for you like early disembark when plane landed.

I didn't stay in downtown Da Nang, but a really nice place to watch the Dragon Bridge Show is the 99+ Sky Lounge Bar. It's a yacht that was turned into a restaurant/bar and if you get there early enough you can sit on the deck which is facing the Dragon Bridge. It's located near the DHC Marina. The food was amazing and the owner was incredibly friendly!
