This is my second visit in decades, and it's a must for any traveler. Last time, I saw the place of the model while saying "I want to go." It was fun to see models of Italy, the Vatican, Egypt, etc. that I have visited in the last few decades, and it was fun to see models of places I had never been before, talking about where to go next. It’s exciting just to imagine that if we had the chance to come back next time, we’d have more places we’d been. I want to go again.

From Asakusa, I boarded the Tobu Limited Express to visit, and as I entered the park, the National Diet Building was on the left, Tokyo Station, where the Shinkansen and Chuo lines run, and the Sky Tree stood in front of me, and next to it stands the Tokyo Tower of my generation… somewhat saddeningly. In the U.S. area, the locks of the Panama Canal have been recreated, and across the pond are the now-defunct twin buildings of the World Trade Center. Further afield are the large pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace and other famous European buildings. The next are Asian areas such as Wat Arun, Angkor Wat and the Great Wall of China. Finally, there were miniatures of historic Japanese buildings such as Kinkaku-ji, Ginkaku-ji, Todai-ji, and Horyu-ji, where the burned Shuri-jo Castle ... was part of the old exhibition, including the JAL aircraft logo at Narita Airport and the 200 series Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train at Tokyo Station. As long as it was only on that day, we could re-enter the park, so we had a quick look at it first, then ate at the park restaurant and re-entered the park.

No cart, a leash allows you to go around with the dog. Forty-six dogs are free to enter. This is the fourth time in 17 years that a dog has been on a forehand. They can see where they've been on a trip, where they'd like to be, from angles they can't actually see. And because they're at the same scale, it gives you a sense of scale. There's not a single smoking area, so you deduct one point.

We have seen a number of miniature sites around the world and this would have to be the best. The route is broken up into geographical zones. Naturally there is a large Japanese section featuring many temples and villages.
We particularly liked the attention to detail with regard to the background settings. The developers had designed it so that many of the zones were shielded from others so for example the Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx had a sand dune back drop whilst Neuschwanstein Castle was set perfectly in the woods. The Great Wall of China weaved its way naturally as a border of the park. Highly worthwhile visit.

My 14 yo daughter and I were in nikko june 2023 and went here. We both really enjoyed it. I'm not sure younger children would like it tho because you can only look at stuff and not touch or get very close. The price was good, it wasnt very busy during the week, and it was about a mile walk from our hotel.
I would recommend it if you are in the area! Staff were super friendly too. Not a lot of English but you can figure it out. There's no shade so I suggest a sun hat or umbrella if going in the summer.

There are miniatures of places that are popular when traveling abroad, including world heritage sites.
Although it was called a miniature, it was larger than I expected.
In particular, towers such as the Sky Tree and the Eiffel Tower in Paris were very realistic.
If you visit many of these places while traveling abroad, you can enjoy it with a nostalgic feeling.
It's not a very accessible place, and if you're not interested in famous places around the world, the entrance fee may seem expensive.

The free guided tour is great!
In the morning, there was an explanation about America and Arabia.
It was so good that we also joined the Europe tour in the afternoon. It changed the way we looked at miniatures, and we continued to look at them carefully even after the tour, staying there for about 5 hours.
The Asia area was also interesting. "Wow, this place is so big!" You get a real sense of how vast it is, which is hard to imagine when you see it in person.
Recommended for visitors from overseas too!
Which is bigger, St. Peter's Basilica or the Forbidden City? Have you seen the front of the White House?

When I hear the name Tobu World Square, I can't help but sing the CM song, and it has been one of the places I've wanted to go since it opened in 1993. I entered the park with excitement, but I couldn't help but feel a little tired, thinking that it was smaller than I had imagined. However, I was fascinated by the world created by the miniatures of many famous cultural heritage sites of the world that I had only seen in videos.
It was before noon on a weekday, so the parking lot was empty, the park was far from crowded, and some restaurants and shops were open, so it gave a slightly lonely impression, but I was glad that I could take my time and look around. I had lunch at Yuba's "Wagokoro". I saw the SL Taiju in front of the station, and I was reminded that it was a treasure box after all.
The admission fee is 2,800 yen for adults, and you can get a 200 yen discount by showing your JAF card, but it seems that advance tickets available at convenience stores are a good deal at 2,500 yen.

開園当初から一度は行きたいと思っていた施設でしたが、どうも優先順位低く30年経って初めて来てみた。旅好き、建物好き、模型好きに良い施設。家族全員だと入場料高いと思ったが、これは決して高くなく、ゆっくり見る価値があると思いました。
前日に日光観光をして夜は鬼怒川温泉宿に泊まり、午前中に鬼怒川ライン下り、そのあと無料シャトルバスに乗り東武ワールドスクエア駅で下ろしてもらい、数時間滞在して帰りも目の前の駅からスペーシアに乗って帰路へ。
ただあいにく訪れた時間帯が雨模様だったため、あまり集中して見れなかった。カッパか大きめの雨傘を無料で貸し出ししてくれれば、雨天でも損したと思わずに帰れるので星５つあげたい。

東武ワールドスクウェアは世界文化遺産や世界の有名な建築物や遺跡が25分の1で再現されています。人間のジオラマも物語を感じます。木の手入れもミニチュアでされておりひとつひとつの丁寧な作りに感動しました。海外の人も多く来ていました。

Can I reach Tobu World Square free from Tokyo using a combination of JR Pass & Nikko Pass?

We did not use public transportation but I just checked online and I believe you can use Nikko Pass for the Tobu theme park. You need to take Tobu Kinugawa Line and get off at Tobu World Square.

How much time you suggest to spend here? Is around 2 hours is enough to see everything or do you need more?

2 hours is enough to go around here.. I suggest you tto visit here twice, at day time and night. You will enjoy seeing some electric illuminations at night.
