I recommend to visit here and eat here. When you find any fish in the market, the first fool, you can cooked the fish at eat-in eat-in corner on the second floor. Person where you bought fish, he can arrange to eat-in corner. I used to have clubs, shrimp and shell fish.

sorry, i can't say which stall is better, cause i only tried once. I am so excited as it is my first time having pufferfish. (like a dream come true) They have various ways of serving it, sashimi, soup and etc.. Of coz, the recommended way is to have it Sashimi.. I will think it is good to try once in a lifetime. I really can't rate or judge the fuzu itself. Only can suggest to skip the Cooked Pufferfish as it really doesn't taste fabulous, or special

There is grocery store outside the market, just short walk away from the fishmongers. They will direct you to the place. No worries.

In my opinion, the Makishi public market cannot be compared to the fish markets in Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, or the other big cities of Asia. It is comparatively small, but located in a popular area. It will move to a new building in a new area in the near future and many of the businesses currently operating in Makishi are worried it will not attract as many tourists. I think if it were not located in its present location, many tourists would not visit. Remember that it is not only seafood in the market. If you are in the area, stop by and have a look.

There is another fish market in Naha (Tuna City) at the docks/port on the waterfront. It does not have as much fresh fish on display as the Makishi one, but it does not have as many tourists and is very reasonably priced. There are many small eateries there and an outdoor eating area. I think it's better for lunch than for dinner.
