More of a shopping corridor than an actual mall.
Mall of Medini functions as a gateway to Legoland, with food options such as an Indian Muslim restaurant, KFC, Secret Recipe, and Burger King.
Open air parking is free.
There is a BIG (Ben's Independent Grocer) with a food court which provides cooking service for fresh meats and vegetables you bought from the supermarket, for a fee.

Only went here because we were staying at the Legoland hotel and this mall is within walking distance. However to be called "mall" is an overstatement where actually the tenants were basically a few restaurants and a supermarket.

Nothing much here except for food & groceries if staying near or visiting Legoland. KFC, Burger King, Subway are the 3 fastfood options here. Starbucks is right at entrance drop-off point. There is also Secret Recipe and My Chicken Rice Shop for Asian food. And the BIG Ben grocery for stocking up any tidbits and food.
Generally a nice little mall to relax outside Legoland.

このモール内にあるKFCとバーガーキング。
どちらも店員がやるきが無い？
KFCはハンバーガーが売り切れ、あるのはポテトとチキンのみ。注文しましたが、なんと1時間も出てきませんでした！
翌日はバーガーキングへ…するとこちらも長蛇の列。それもそのはず、店員があきらかにやる気無し、そもそも注文をなかなかとろうとしません。とにかく覇気ゼロ。
諦めてサブウェイに行きましたが、こちらは店員さんも感じが良く、それなりにさばいていましたが、上の二つの店舗に比べるとあきらかに人気がないようで、席にも余裕あり…。
ここではサブウェイがおすすめです。
スタバも行きましたが、ほぼ満席でした。

Good supermarket, good and friendly Starbucks staff. That's all!!!
If you are a foreigner and need some cash, then you are totally screwed!!!
The ONLY available ATM machine will systematically reject all your cards ... same happened to foreigners before/behind me!
PS: i know i know ... you may say "simply pay with your credit card". Well ... go and tell this to Legoland staff in charge of lockers. They only accept CASH!

The mall itself is quiet and not much people. Toilets were out of order. Ben's Independent Grocer (BIG) is an upmarket supermarket and has a food court and bakery that provides free drinking water. Good place to rest after a visit to Sealife for a quick snack and some drinks. Other nearby restaurants were KFC, Absolute Thai, Chicken rice shop etc. The entrance to Legoland can either be walking via this mall or a covered walkway linking a big open air car park.

Let's see what's changed (especially after the pandemic).
- BIG Supermarket is the main attraction here now; from groceries to food courts, they're all good.
- many fast foods are still here; Burger King, KFC, Subway, Old Town, Chicken Rice Shop
- convenience store was MyNews, I think
- the playgrounds have been updated, they're all in good conditions and well-maintained
- I checked two of the toilets - one near BIG and the other one nearer to KFC and BK; both were well-maintained too
- not sure about the parking tickets, though coz' I stayed at Legoland Resort

Their chicken schnitzel is delicious. So is their Roast Chicken and butter rice.
For those staying at Legoland Hotel, I recommend skipping the overpriced hotel restaurant and come over to B.I.G. Supermarket at Mall of Medini, which is just a 5min walk from Legoland Hotel.

Yes, most of the outlets have the pay wave option. However, if the transaction amount is high then the outlets may ask the customer to swipe keying the pin code.

I don't recall seeing any money changers at the Mall though I can't confirm this. However it's best to change some local currency before coming over to the Mall of Medini to avoid any disappointment
In case you do need to change money, the nearest place is Anjung Neighbourhood Centre at East Ledang (5 mins drive) or Aeon Mall - Bukit Indah (10 mins drive)

Yes, the mall is very near to Legoland. This mall is near the Legoland entrance. You can find some restaurant here, but not much variety.
About safety, I guess it's safe enough. HTH
