Relocated recently from Concubine Lane to on top of Time Tunnel in Jalan Panglima, Ipoh Old Town.
This is Elvin's personal collection of Cars, Planes, Models; proudly displayed with lots of photo's, history and articles. He is wealth of knowledge on his collection, which has grown since our first visit here in Feb 17.
Very moderately priced, and for all collectors this is something to aspire to!!

A good collection of car from Hot wheels, Lego etc....it has moved from the concubine Lane , however, it's still within walking distance.
My son bought a few Hot wheels from here.

My family & I happened to stroll along Concubine lane and the signage of this place caught my attention. The owner was friendly & attentive. As far as I know, there isn’t a place like this in Malaysia which showcases a complete set of car models. I was fascinated by the passion & detailed historical background of the car manufacturers. True enough when being asked, the owner does know his facts. A must visit for those who fancy the intricacies of cars. Also look out for some surprises after the cars showcase...

The owner of this museum has invested well in his collection. There is also a wealth of knowledge about the car industry on the walls. I was pleased with all the owner's depth of information. You won't be disappointed.

We visited Dream Big World and loved it. The models, posters, and information were all beautifully presented. Adults and children alike would enjoy this extensive display of models. The owner was helpful, informative, engaging and generous with his time.
A must see stop for the Ipoh visitor.

After hearing about this place from a family member, I decided to check it out. The entrance is a little hidden; inside of a shop that sells local food delicacies.
I went, thinking that my kids will enjoy looking at the model cars. I was blown away. It was so much more than all the beautiful model cars on display. And the model cars were amazing. There were Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, just to name a few.
What was unexpected was, my kids and I learning about car engines. From the evolution of engines to the history of iconic car engines, the wealth of information was displayed in chronological order, making it easy for the readers to understand and to absorb all the details. On top of that, there was a even working model combustion engine. My kids really loved observing and learning how the pistons moved in this type of engine.
The owner, Elvin, is clearly knowledgeable and his passion is obvious, as he explains about engines and cars.
In summary, I highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for indoor activities for kids.

Found this place one night during a walk down Concubine Lane. A great private collection of model cars with something for every car brand enthusiast.
Elvin Chew's collection shows his great model building and is a walk down automotive memory lane. This place will take you back to the good old days of your childhood when we had time to painstakingly and patiently paint snd build a model kit from scratch.
Elvin is highly knowledgeable and passionate about his cars. There is so much potential for this to become the centre of a model car club for like-minded enthusiasts to meet and exchange tips and tricks, a place for others to display their models, buy and sell, the list is endless...

I honestly have to give this a high recommendation. The owner is friendly and enthusiastic and there is an amazing collection of rare mini car models. This is a must for any visit to the Ipoh old town.

Wasn't easy to spot, above Concubine Lane Delights.
Our Host, Elvin was so proud showing us his extensive Model Car, Scalextric and World of models. Basically, his collection that outgrew home...complete with Airport waiting room, Scalextric track, and model Cars of various shapes and makers, nicely displayed. It will be a continuing work in progress....but, hopefully, this will be included in a trip to Old Town Ipoh.
Brave venture...and if enthusiasm is anything to go by...this will do well.

Entrance fee back in April was 5 Ringgit. Worth a look if you like model cars or you grew up with them in the 80's or 90's.
