This is a good place to buy souvenirs. You have a wide variety of selections from food, key chains, bonnets, Baguio memorabilias, handicrafts, igorot costumes and etc. you can also bargain for the price.

If you go bring your gas mask,, the pollution is terrible,, also be warned this is area is also used as a CR during the night,,, stinks of urine and crap...

This is the place to buy pasalubong for family and friends whenever you come to Baguio. You can buy handicrafts, weaved items, silver goods. I bought veggies, coffee beans and peanut brittle.You can haggle with prices here.
The place is clean, it can get crowded but if you're early like 730am, you're good. There may be men or children asking if they can carry your goods for you... it is safe... better take a taxi or use public transportation because it is hard to find parking space here.

I'm not sure why it's listed as a thing-to-do. It just seems your common place. In fact, it's crowded and noisy given it's near the very busy road. It does, however, offers a good place for souvenirs, clothing, repair shops, eateries, and others. Also, it's very accessible.

Souvenirs is found on the ground floor from native clothes to handmade wooden tokens. While at the upper level mostly a cellphone shop,offices and dress shops.

Maharlika is good for shopping, but this area is now too crowded.
The products are good, but the shops are too crowded.
Inside are full of those cellphone repair shops, not the pasalubong products. And worse, there are bars that is inappropriate for those who never drank alcohol.
And there is an Islamic center in the top floor, not recommended for those Islamophobes and easily religious offended.

The perfect place when shopping for souvenirs for your loved ones. Commuting to Maharlika is very convenient as most jeepneys pass by here.

SInce Good sheperd as fedback to us, ran out of UBE Jam and we wanted to veer away from the long queuing, we proceeded to Maharlika instead which is also a distribution haven of the same branded UBE thing and the price is just the same. Being in Baguio for so many times, the cheaper items are still at Maharlika where i got some new finds- the local cherries, Spanish tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I also purchased candy coated sunflower seeds for a change haggled at php70.00 per small bottle 1 ml I supposed. I also bought Raisin breads at nearby Sunshine Store which tasted yummier than the ordinary.

The shops in the basement still sell the Baguio souvenirs as well as handwoven crafts and table runners and decor. It is rather old and rundown and dark and dingy.

If you are in Baguio, you should not miss this old building located at the city's main intersection and just walking distance away from other famous attractions in the city like Burnham Park, Session Rd., etc. It has so many things to offer if you are looking for cheap and beautiful souvenirs. The vendors are so accommodating and you can even made a really good bargain. And yes, it has clean toilets as well.
