not the 1st time in an escape room, and went in with all newbies. had fun, team wasn't frustrated but some of the puzzles were just something you couldn't figure out without clues.

I tried two rooms. Both were puzzles of finding the code then opening a lock with the code. There was no mystery. There was no story. There was no technology. There was no escape. There was little logic to the puzzles. Mystery Manila gave me the impression in marketing of some interesting story to unfold, or special effects, or escape rooms. It has none of this. The staff look uninterested and struggle to find any enthusiasm. Just opening locks with a number or word puzzle. At the price they charge, I would call the place a scam.

May 23, 2019, I was with my best friend to visit and play at the Mystery Manila for the first time. We did not expect anything unusual or warmth welcome from any staff. But voila, the staff at Century Mall branch were accommodating and friendly. My best friend and I experienced fun and laughter while solving the mystery. I wish we could go back there and solve the mystery this time since we just almost solved the mystery HAHAHAHA. It's a two thumbs up for me, and I highly recommend the place. Thank you for the experience!

Me and my friends had a lot of fun! We visited the Mystery Manila (Jupiter St. Branch) and played the horror themed- Rebecca‘s room. We had a really hard time solving the puzzles and ended up asking for clues every time we‘re lost. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend this place for people who like to play detectives. Definitely going back soon for other puzzles.

we made the mistake of figuring out one thing for too long and it ate up our time. but the clues help, and if it is your first time, then you will enjoy more if you are able to guess some and get the clues to help you.

Its fun, i wont spoil anything, but when you go here? look everywhere and careful for false clues. Only disappointing thing is the riddles? there's a reason they dont let you bring your phone. a lot of it you can find on the internet so if you like browsing on the web? you'd probably remember the answer to these riddles since they are rather popular riddles. Oh and make sure you book your visit, we came here without booking, which is fine. we were able to play? but we had a long wait. and not in the room we wanted to play. so dont do what we did and actually book them.

We did Debby's Doll and I am not sure if it's because we are just too many in a group that the room did not get scary. We solved the first clues quite fast and were stuck on the third and fourth clue. But we realized that it is entirely our fault that we got stuck as we are not looking thoroughly. Hahahaha
So my advise is BE SURE TO LOOK EVERYWHERE. There will be too many "clues" that are not helpful so if one way does not work, leave it. Second advise is DO NOT COMPLICATE THINGS. If the solution is too complicated, then that is probably not the answer. The solutions are pretty straightforward. Last advice will be, SPLIT UP. The way to look for clues fast is to split up.

This is an activity that enhances your competitive spirit, it promotes team work as well as stimulates the brain especially if you're into problem solving. There are different mystery to choose from if you book ahead of time otherwise you will be accommodated on the available rooms just like what happened to our group.

My siblings and I booked Debby's Doll at Mystery Manila's Century Mall Branch at 4:00. We solved the mystery and felt so bitin that we had to do another one. Thus, we went to Jupiter Branch and booked Rebecca's Room at 7:30. We also solved that one.
It was one of the best weekends that my siblings ever had. Can't wait to try the other mysteries this coming weekend.

Can 2 rooms be booked at the same time ?
Is it possible for 2 teams to play simultaneously against each other in different rooms at the same time?

Hi Black_Percy,
If you want the same mystery for all groups, you have to play in batches because all our indoor rooms have only one mystery per room. The only exception is the Ticking Time Bomb at our Libis branch which is outdoor but can accommodate 3 groups with 6 people per group playing at the same time.

I'm afraid we can only accommodate a maximum of 6 players per room.
The reason behind the limitation in players is for each of you to have the maximum experience. Having too many players inside a room will lessen the quality of the mystery solving experience. Rest assured this is applied so that our customers get to enjoy each game to the fullest.
I suggest you split your group and try to have some friendly competition with each other in terms of who can solve the mystery the fastest.
