Loved the whole dianosaur skeleton thing here at Xi'an Nature Museum. Not just for kids but adults too can enjoy!

Like any other museums, the XI an musée I CAN say was a masterpiece in west China! There are over 20,000 collections of sculptures, paintings, fossil samples, and artifacts. It's amazing to see all in a short amount of time

全稱陝西自然博物館位於電視塔腳下門票30元，從外面可以看到館的建築一個巨大的球型很漂亮。外面的廣場也很大因為在兩條主幹道中間需要通過地鐵站出入口通行。
館內分好幾個區域比想像中大很多，比較好的是廣場上的鳥語林有幾隻珍惜品種的野雞還是什麼和鸚鵡。館內有個很大的猛獁象骨骼標本，陝西各地館內通過各種設備詳細介紹了各區域的不同地理風貌很值得看因為陝西南北狹長跨越南北從漢江丹江直到塞北邊陲，各地自然環境差異巨大。還有一個健康館也很有趣裡面還有解剖的人體模型健康知識等。參觀需要大約2個小時。

This certainly was one of the most spectacular museums alive! Dinosaur fossils and other ancient ruins and exhibits are available for the check. Unfortunately, Terra Cotta warriors aren't located here because it was in a different county located southeast of Xi'an. Visited back in Nov 2013

I was very excited to go and visit the Museum with my family. We had a baby in a stroller and we thought it would be a real enjoyment because they told us that the entry was free until the 6th of February 2014, for the Spring Festival. Well, we discovered soon that was only a rumour - so I didn’t mind paying 20 RMB per ticket (around $4 - $4.50) because we thought we will really enjoy it (my son loves nature and animals). Sadly, the main entrance is on the other side from the ticket office (which is downstairs). We have to ask the security guards for the directions to find a ramp to go to the upper level, because no elevators were available. We found the entrance and I found that there are two new exhibitions in the Museum. We found them boring, because most of the screens for interactive learning were shut down, and nothing was working except the repetitive loop videos. Because there were some dinosaur rides for the kids, my little boy wanted to go on them… It said on them that they cost 1 RMB… but very soon we discovered that the special coins which cost 5 RMB need to be purchased from the staff! Of course, complaining in China doesn’t work, and I just mentioned it to the staff to change the price on the ride. Toilets at the museum were not bad, clean enough for Chinese standard – but only upstairs, while downstairs was a different story, because if you didn’t finish your business quickly, the clothes would have an odour the next few days!
The main exhibition of the Museum is downstairs and when we wanted to use the elevator because we had a baby in a stroller, the elevator was shut down! No access for babies or people with disability or elderly! I had to carry the stroller with a baby for over 100 stairs! I am not joking! The staff didn’t care. They were quite relaxed and determined to mind their own business.
Dinosaurs in the big hall didn't have marking which parts were real and which are not - most of them looked fake to me, anyway! But, most of the kids accepted that they are real, I suppose that is how it works in this part of the world. The quality of the rest of the exhibition is very good, except the taxidermist’s work ! Why is so hard to find glass eyes in the 21st century I really wonder! Even Macedonian Natural Museum (which is one of the smallest I know) had them 30 years ago, while the animals in the Xi’an exhibition halls looked like someone just poked their eyes recently! On the other hand, insects exhibits were great!
No café at the premises, no place to rest or for the kids to have fun (except the money making dinosaurs upstairs). Small activity area would not interest anyone because nothing worked. Only refreshment you can buy are from the staff themselves upstairs – bottled water (triple the price). As a whole experience, this one was one of the worst in China!

雁塔区的应该是陕西省博物馆，给你一天，还你一万年！此话确实不假，进里边休想蹭听，那帮讲解员的声跟蚊子差不多，所以必须租个讲解器~想全面了解历史可不能就呆2点，起码得是一上午或者一下午~里边有个珍宝馆要花钱的确实值！而且排票对于来旅游的人来说太浪费了！

这是一个很值得看的地方，足足看了一个下午呢，很精彩的说。看完后还可以吃好吃的，西安的小吃可真是便宜，即便是景区内的也不贵哦。

整个博物馆的建筑风格就能看出中国历史的悠远。内部的藏品更是能让人感觉如同在上千年的时空隧道里穿梭。悠久的历史，精美的文物，不得不为巧手智慧的祖先感叹！
