We had such an amazing tour with Siddoz. He not only showed us all the secret food spots around KL, but gave us a lot of insight into the diverse cultures too. We tried so many of the different local street food. Siddoz made us feel very welcome, and we would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone coming to KL. Word of advice: do not eat for a few hours beforehand so you have an empty stomach, or you’ll regret not being able to experience it all ! :)

Mohd was brilliant. Arrived promptly. Car was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
His driving was efficient and we felt safe at all times, even in the crazy KL traffic.
His commentary was concise, informative and clear. The tour felt very flexible; he regularly asked for our input if there was anything we wanted to do.
It was quick but never rushed. It felt like we did more than we could possibly have done on our own or in a bigger tour group.
Essentially, I’d strongly recommend Mohd and his tour of KL to anyone visiting the city.

Had a great time with Akmal exploring the best that Kuala Lumpur has to offer. I only had one free day in KL and wanted to use it to experience different sides of the city from Batu Caves to Petronas Towers. Akmal was great and picked me up from my hotel at a time to suit me, then was a fantastic guide as we explored the sights and discussed life in Malaysia. I always like to get a local, private tour guide when I travel as you get a more personal insight into what it's like to live in the city you are visiting. Would definitely recommend you spend a few hours with Akmal.

Paul was an excellent and thoughtful guide. We covered all the sites promised in comfort and he was very informative, I would rate this tour highly.

No one showed up to take me on a tour, I can not rate it. There was not a clear meet point I waited for a half hour

Ruth was just lovely! She took us to Pasar Seni, Chinatown and Brickfields. The sour plum tangerine drink and all food tastings were good and I loved hearing about local customs and traditions. Ruth was very attentive to my vegan wishes. She clearly indicated what was vegan and what not. One word of advice: skip breakfast because the tour will feed you for the entire day! ;)

Brendon’s tour was absolutely perfect for my 18yr old daughter and myself. He picked us up right on time and made us feel comfortable as soon as we met. The tour was surprise after surprise and Brendon always had some story or fact to share which was so entertaining. He worked out our interests and changed things to make sure we got to see the best of KL for us. Highly recommend Brendon as a guide for KL.

The tour was fantastic, you’ll try local foods that you would not have found on your own. You’ll also tour special places like a temple and street art laneway. TK was very knowledgeable and hospitable, he even offered to drive me to the Petronas Twin towers once the tour was finished because they were next on my list to see. One of the best tours I’ve ever done.

2 most reasonable and reliable apps I would recommend, and from personal experience would be; GetYourGuide (orange back-ground app) and WithLocals. These are the most popular apps with efficient snd accurate itinerary based on what you’d like to see when you’d like to see. WithLocals is very good for tailor made visits i.e. you wish to visit some of the places or have a recommendation for your guide to consider, they will almost always agree. Last but not least, do book at least a week in advance which ever app you use to avoid disappointment or clashing with your own visitation itinerary. Hope this helps

Hi, can you pick up from the cruise port? The half-day 4 hour tour departing at 9:00 AM, is it usually back between 1:00 - 1:30 PM? Want to make sure we are back an hour and a half before sail time which is 3:00 PM.

We met the tour guide at the main market area where the tour begins. The guides seem very flexible so I would guess one could meet you at the ship if you requested. Unless you request just you and the guide, remember that you will be part of a group .
