Visited in December 2024. I had a lot of fun! I loved everything from the train exhibits and all the vintage cars, trucks, bikes, and motorcycles. There was everything from electric cars from the 1890s to the present. The descriptions were really interesting, including not only the technical issues of the cars, but also the social context. This experience was very interesting.

We visited during a mini car show that was set up in the lot outside the building. It was pretty neat to see a bunch of new cars outside and a long history of vehicles inside. This was our second trip, the last being 2021, and several of the exhibits have changed so it was a new experience. We spent a lot of time inside wandering through. The room that was set up with a Matchbox race track and coloring sheets was great for the youngest kids. The interactive exhibits also kept their interest.

I’m visited with my two sons in their mid 20s. We had such a fantastic time! They loved everything from the train displays, with the nostalgic town set ups, to the cars. There was everything from 1890s electric cars to the present. The descriptions were really interesting, including not only the technical issues of the cars, but also the social context. I highly recommend this.

I am not a huge classic car enthusiast but I still found it interesting to read the stories about the cars and to look at so many beautiful classics. It’s worth the stop just to show appreciation for the American Automobile.

The museum is an enjoyable way to spend a few hours, particularly for classic car enthusiasts. While some of the displays (e.g. hydrogen-fuel cars, bicycle food-delivery drivers) are dated, the museum boasts some local historical treasures. Visitors likely will spend most of their time on the first floor. The second floor has a rotating display, as well as a library and a fascinating section on what is needed to restore a classic vehicle. Throughout the museum, there are interactive activities for children. In December, there are model trains and a Lego display. The museum has a parking lot. We visited on a week day, and it wasn’t crowded.

Took my son there, which is was free on Sunday 12 years and under. We had a great experience before we went to the Phantoms hockey game. Lots of cool cars to explore.

It is located in quieter neighborhood of Allentown. We were welcomed by several friendly guys. The location has two floors so make sure you have enough time to checkout every corner of this unique place. We saw some very unique vehicles and kids-friendly gas station setup - hard to find anywhere else. Thank you for excellent experience.

This is a neat museum with a very nice collection of unique vehicles really liked it. Spent about an hour but it closed at 3pm on sat so we could have spent a bit longer but they were closing.

Nice, small museum in a beautiful facility that's worth the visit. Price is a little steep for the size/scope of what you get to see, but we used Groupon to cut the cost by 45%. The museum is also in a seedy part of town, but parking is ample and felt pretty safe.
To add a little constructive criticism, get rid of the pocket book display. Yes, this museum also includes a display of women's POCKET BOOKS. Regardless of intent, this display has absolutely NOTHING to do with transportation. It's like showing pictures of children picking their noses, trying to justify it because they were doing it while sitting in the backseat of their parent's car.

My Dad came to visit and we decided to visit the museum. AMAZING Corvette exhibit. The folks there were very nice and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum. Well worth a visit!!

On thurs Seniors are free, children under 5 are free all the time. Children under 12 free on Sunday

Yes it is. There is a ramp and an elevator. Bathrooms are also handicap accessible.
