Very reasonably priced. Intimate theatre with all good seats. Very good acoustics, understood all dialogue very clearly. Municipal parking lot in back was full, but found a free spot on the street next to the church. We saw Gaslight, very well acted. We had dinner first at Dettera across the street, also recommended. Nice date night in Ambler.

This playhouse is so small that all the seats are good. Went to see Kalamazoo which was a cute, two person play. Had a few good laughs. I won't spoil the storyline.

Have season tickets for the 2nd year in a row! Loved every play so far and that's been at least 10! We've taken our neighbor and now she has season tickets too! Very reasonably priced for a playhouse (like $30). Very small but cozy. Amazing how the create the stage. All the actors are top notch!

The theater size is small (and cozy, not a bad seat in the house) BUT the productions have been anything but small! Wonderful selections and each season is better than the previous one. Have been a member since the beginning and look forward to each show. A great night out with a nice variety of restaurants in Ambler to dine before the show.

Once again, Act II displays the talent, energy and commitment of many fine professionals both on the stage and behind the scenes. The wonderful cast of 'Biloxi Blues' put their heart and soul into this amazing Neil Simon play. Of course, they paid tribute to Mr. Simon after the curtain call. As season subscribers we had the additional benefit of seeing actors in very different roles from their previous ones which highlighted the broad reach of their talent. Some actors were making their professional debuts or their Act II debuts and we hope they return! Bravo! Get your tickets before they are sold out!

As always, another wonderful, fun and entertaining evening at Act II in Ambler. Tony Braithwaite's one-person show (+ music & stage setting help) tells the back-stage, on-stage and post-production stories and tales of the theater. Tony works with the audience and lets us in on those 'secrets' or well-known and little-known legends from Broadway to Ambler. The use of video interviews of many familiar actors breaks up the delivery; they all look like they enjoyed telling their funny, embarrassing and open stories. Past audiences participate anonymously through their sometimes weird and off-the-wall criticisms and comments in letter form. A wonderful 1.5 hour production - don't miss it!

We have been subscribers since the theater opened over ten years ago. WE have very rarely been disappointed in the shows. There is a wide variety of theater available. It is always amazing how much they can do with a small stage. The dramas have been diversified and at times chilling and the musicals want for nothing. Go see a play there (if you can get a ticket)!
