Wonderful demonstrations and talks. It was a great way to spend a day. The professionals and volunteers were very knowledgeable and great answering questions.

We live in Charleston, and just don't get out to Birds of Prey often enough. Beautiful setting and very well done exhibits. Loads of birds. And the owls...oh the owls. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and this is the best place to spend an afternoon. Their conservation work is fantastic.

Amazing and educational!!!!

Staff and voluteers were amazing and friendly.

We spent the whole day there - 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. A perfect day weather wise, not too hot.
Saw lots of what the staff called Bonus birds in the sky and on the ground. Husband and I decided to pack a lunch so we could take in all the tours. Prepare to walk alot! Wear good shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and bug spray.

So educational and what you can do to help these birds. Learned alot and will now read labels and not purchase palm oil and make sure my coffee is rainforest certified.

Horrible to learn about what rodincides (spelling) are doing to the bird population.

Absolutely amazing to have a rapture fly over your head during the demonstrations. As one of the staff put it... you now know what it feels like to be a mouse in a field with an owl going after you.

We will be back, disappointed that the nights with the owls spots are already filled, however we will check back. And yes the King Pops are excellent in the gift area!!! Never had one. T shirts are great...post cards are great. Excellent day.

Just a few suggestions and remember this is coming from a senior citizen....
not all of the trainers doing the demos had their microphones on...hard to hear them, however they did project their voice.
More benches needed when you are walking about the trails...from one spot to another..
When picnicing, it would be nice to have an area that is covered with a shade tarp. Perhaps due to the wind, you didn't have a shade tarp up.

Also, are electric wheel chairs allowed? I would love to bring another bird enthusiast, however she would not be able to do all the walking. Perhaps you could rent a golf cart???? Just suggestions... I realize all monies go towards the feeding and medical needs of the birds.

Quite a variety of bird with some cool demos. Pack a lunch, plan on spending the day! Great for inquisitive mind young and old. Staff is super knowledgeable and the right mix of passion and compassion.
Very very well done.

Always something new to see and learn!

My family has visited the Center for Birds of Prey many times for various events and programs. We love seeing the same birds in the demonstrations every time - there’s always something new to learn about them or observe in their behavior. The facility is top notch - never feel crowded by other visitors and the staff, including volunteers are so passionate about their work! Out of town guests are always amazed that we have something so special near our home.

I always enjoy visiting the Center for Birds of Prey! I've been several times because new people want to go with me once I tell them about it. The staff and volunteers are very knowledgeable, and I learn something new every time. It is great to get out there and see the variety of birds they have - they're so cool!

Fabulous evening….beautiful birds, wine, delicious food, AND 4 singer/guitar players from Nashville! what could be better ?!!!

This is an excellent place to visit and to support! Informative and entertaining and even inspirational to see the results of the work they do in treating injured birds of prey.
Our only issue was heading south on I-17, Google Maps sent us almost a mile south of where we wanted to turn left. There is a cut-they right at the entrance, and a big sign. It’s right past Tractor Supply, when heading south.
Go and learn what you can do to help👍
