Kelly was amazing, we came unprepared (we didn't think to bring drinks) & he let us borrow a cooler. Super outgoing and friendly. Decently priced ! If I'm ever in the area again I will pay him a visit !

We rented 2 fishing kayaks. The delivery was great. Very prompt and the prices were very reasonable. The kayaks were in good shape and we were happy to get some guidance on where and what to fish in the area.

Dean is the type of guide that makes ones time on the water with him a memorable experience, whether the fish are biting or not. He is very knowledgeable of the areas he fishes and he's a lot of fun to fish with!

The three of us did a 4-hour ocean kayak "Eco-tour" with Slowride Guide Services in Aransas Pass, Texas, and we were very impressed with the quality of service. Owner Jenny accompanied us and was very attentive and knowledgeable toward us beginners, especially toward one of us who had never been in a kayak. It was a fun time, learned a lot and would do it again with them.

Booked a trip for my husband's birthday with Dean. I had seen a recommendation on Tkf site. He was prompt and professional. He loaded kayaks on his boat and took us out past the crowds. Had a great time! Top notch equipment. He even told us a great place to stay in the area that was a jewel.

We spent a half day out with Dean and had a great time. He knows and loves the area and is very fun just to talk with while paddling. Equipment was all top notch. He also gave us a great lunch recommendation.

Six of us drove down from the Austin area to tour the Lighthouse Lakes Paddling Trail with Slowride Guide Services. Capt. Dean Thomas was just great. We did kayak tours on two separate days and both were fantastic. Capt. Thomas guided us expertly through the oyster beds, pointed out all the neat things to see and was a very personable guy.

Dean Thomas was one of the first in the sport of kayak fishing and he definitely knows what he's doing! Certified by the US Coast Guard and Texas Parks and Wildlife, his knowledge of the coastal area is seemingly unlimited and, to top it off, he's a lot of fun to paddle with. He offers guided kayak fishing trips, kayak "eco-tours" of the area and kayak rentals. Kayaking not your thing? He also has a 20 ft Haynie Flats boat used for fishing. We have gone out with Dean several times and if the fish are biting, he knows where they are.
