We went to enjoy Bonnie Rait at the Austin City Limits.
They have mastered getting huge crowds in and out. While huge, all seats have very good views and acoustics.

ATX venue 6th street a DIVE

z tx on sixth Street called the venue. This venue is not worth your money. Drinks weak. Service slow and the management are corrupt. Sitting on their high horse they refused re-entry for a concert I bought for my husband. Saying I was too intoxicated to come into their establishment. Finally with a 20 min wait at the door the manager let us in. When inside we saw young girls drunk falling over, throwing up, the entire venue Spelled like pot, and the main event paul oalkenfold didn't even come on the stage till 1am. This bar is backwards and you should save your money and go somewhere else! I give tips place a thumbs down and will not be giving them my money every again.

Nice venue with mix of floor standing and seats available. Some confusion with the security regarding timelines and when to let folks in, as well as missing food vendors that were promised.

Great concert venue

Went to see the Mavericks as they were playing while we were in Austin. We were able to walk to the venue from the JW Marriott easily and staff was directing people into the venue so entry was no problem. It is not a large venue so limited things to do before the event but they had plenty of bars available to get drinks. We were in the upper seated area (great views) but you did have to walk up several flights of stairs. There was an elevator if you need it. On the main floor it appeared to be standing only so we took the reserved upper seats. The crowd was mixed but was generally older but lively. The performance was outstanding. I had a tab and they closed me out before the end of the show. The upstairs bathroom was pretty nasty by the end of the show but was clean in the beginning. Getting out after the show was quick and easy.

The security staff was incredibly condescending and rude. When I asked for a supervisor, Gene came out and spoke to me briefly before walking away, and was the rudest. I do not recommend booking any events here.

Attended an ABBAmania concert there last week and had an amazing and fun time. The venue is very nice, acoustically designed and the staff were organized and friendly. I can’t wait to attend another live music event there.

ACL Live at the Moody ... Iconic Theatre

We were recently in Austin for a few days. Having watched a lot of Austin City Limits on television over the years, catching a show at ACL Live at the Moody was a priority. We were fortunate enough to land tickets to see Big Head Todd and the Monsters. The show was very good ... but, moreover the venue is awesome. We were seated center stage, but in the very last row in the balcony. The sound was great. We had an unobstructed, good view of the entire stage. I would sit in the back row again! Kind of like the Ryman Auditorium ... ACL Live at the Moody is a “bucket list” sort of venue!

The venue is gorgeous. The furthest seat is only 165’ from the stage and still a great view. The sound system is second to nowhere.
