Went to a concert at the amphitheater and had a great time. It would be nice to have an entrance on more than one side, but otherwise a nice showplace.

Along with all of the beauty this park offers in the day, the nightly Creek Show is what we enjoyed. The display of artists and talented musicians was a joy, and at night it has tons of illuminated art displays. This free exhibit is worth the visit.

Part of the Waterloo Greenway in the Waller Creek district. Beautiful urban park with a meandering hike and bike trail. It's filled with wildflowers and native plants and trees. Features the Moody Amphitheater for outdoor events and festivals.

Waterloo Park is conveniently located between the State Capitol, the Red River entertainment district and the Dell Medical Complex. Once an overused park, it reopened in summer 2021 as a beautiful 11-acre oasis along Waller Creek. We were most impressed with the extensive native plant gardens. During our December 2021 visit, we saw lots of blooms and butterflies because Austin had not yet had a winter freeze. The park has a playground with a slide, an amphitheater, picnic space, huge trees, lawn areas, ADA walkways and bathrooms. Because it is part of the city’s flood control infrastructure, the park has an awesome waterfall at the Waller Creek Tunnel inlet. Don't miss the huge tree and beautiful pond at the corner of 12th and Red River.
Park across the street in the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 12th and San Jacinto. It’s free for the first two hours on weekdays and is sometimes free on weekends. Extend your visit with a stroll to nearby Stubbs Bar-B-Q.

Whether you come for Eeyore's birthday, ice cream enjoyment or hot sauce crackling fun; convenient location away from the bar scene and "green" surrounding for leisure time for oneself. With friends or family - a benefit to all.

The scene of many weekend get togethers for UT students and Austinites. You really never know what your going to find so is worth swinging by to see what is up and get a flavor of Austin.

Not a place for families, women, or children. Huge potential, right by Capitol and downtown, has good festivals, but is essentially overflow housing for the three homeless shelters the city inexplicably planted in the middle of downtown. Way to go, Austin!

The city is working on a Waller Creek walkway project and has the entire park fenced off and not available for public use for a while.
