Maegu is about 2 km east of the main shrine, about 4 km from Chino Station on the Chuo Line, in the middle of the Okaya Chino Line along the old Kamakura Kaido. The photo above shows the view of Suwa city from Maenomiya. It seems to be halfway up the mountain. This place is full of nature. A clean stream is coming down the mountain. This is apparently called “goshinsui”. This building is the main shrine. Compared to the other three companies, it looks much more modest. It looks like it's standing quietly in the mountains. Of course, in this front shrine, the “pillars” are also erected at the four corners of the shrine.

■ Suwa Taisha is a shrine with four precincts around Lake Suwa in Nagano Prefecture. It is the head shrine of Suwa Shrines all over Japan and is considered one of the oldest shrines in Japan.

□ Comment from Mr. Kamihara: "The whole area of the plaza where you walk in from the prefectural road and it's higher." According to the shrine's biography, it was here that Suwa no Okami first appeared, so it has the deepest history for Kamisha.
□ Keikansha: Located in a field about a hundred meters west of Uchi no Migyokuden, the shrine today is a small one, but in the past it was used to hold important ceremonies that were extremely mysterious.
□ Sakugu Honden (main shrine): Located about 200 meters up from Uchi no Mitamaden, it is said to be the first place where Suwa no Okami took up residence. It is on high ground and is the birthplace of the Suwa faith, which has good ground where abundant water and sunlight can be obtained.
□ Wakamiko-sha Shrine: It is said to enshrine the children of Takeminakata no mikoto, who is admired as Suwa Myojin.

諏訪大社 上社 前宮に訪問しました。4つの宮のうちの一つです。本宮までは徒歩で移動することはちょっと遠いかなと思います。下社までは市も違いますので車での移動が必要になります。社の中は静かな雰囲気の中に格式があるように感じました。

日本神話以前からの諏訪の歴史を一番、色濃く表れているように思えた「諏訪大社上社前宮」でした。
「諏訪信仰発祥の地」であり、諏訪大社四社の中で「最も古い」と言われているのも納得という感じでしたよ。言い方が正しいか分かりませんが、四社の中で一番、「原始的」というか、そのような印象を受けました。私的にはかなり好きなタイプ「諏訪大社上社前宮」でした。お勧めします。
それにしても「諏訪大社四社巡り」、すべてお参りさせていただきましたが、それぞれとても個性があり、とても良かったでした。「諏訪大社四社巡り」もお勧めします。
「諏訪信仰発祥の地」であり、諏訪大社四社の中で「最も古い」と言われているのも納得という感じでしたよ。言い方が正しいか分かりませんが、四社の中で一番、「原始的」というか、そのような印象を受けました。私的にはかなり好きなタイプ「諏訪大社上社前宮」でした。お勧めします。

長野県茅野市にある、諏訪大社４社の一つ。
本殿近くまで来るまで行けますが、県道152号線沿いの鳥居前駐車場に停めて参拝しました。
一番下の鳥居から、順にお詣りして本殿まで登ってもそれ程時間は掛かりませんでした。
こじんまりとして華やかさはありませんが、しっとりとした神社でした。

諏訪大社四社のうちここだけが茅野市にあります。県道16号線沿いに駐車場がありました。駐車場から歩いて行きましたが遠かった。田んぼの中に小さな古い社がありました。駐車場近くの社務所で御朱印いただきました。

4社めぐり最初の宮です。諏訪信仰発祥の地とされるので、さぞ豪華なのかと思いましたが、反して質素な感じで、そこが逆に元祖と感じさせてくれました。訪れる価値ありです。

諏訪大社四社の中では一番地味だが、それなりにパワーは感じる。一度はお参りする価値あり。自動車で四社すべてを回りたい。すぐ近くにも駐車場はあるが、道が狭く対向車がくればすれ違いはできない。国道沿いの駐車場を利用するのが良い。

諏訪大社4社をめぐりましたが、こちらが1番小さくて質素な建物です。4社巡りなので、回ることに意味があるのでしょう。
山の上の方にあり、すぐ近くまで車で行けます。
ナビで案内された場所に車を停めたら、徒歩で坂道を登ることになったので注意してください。
