Trap for Tourists

Medium and expensive restaurants. They serve pseudo-Italian food produced on an industrial scale. Or will anyone believe that it is possible to serve quality food to 500-1000 people a day?
Santa Felicidad had its days of glory many decades ago, when Italian immigrants settled there and sought to offer quality dishes at attractive prices. What we see today is a 2nd-3th generation of babysitters who use the reputation built by their parents to extract money from innocent tourists. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian gastronomic experience in Curitiba, don’t waste your time and money visiting the remote Sta. Felicidad. Much better (and cheaper) options exist in the Center and its surroundings.

It was very strange, there was a shutdown on the whole street, it was completely dark at 22hs...the only place that was working was the Madalosso, because it had a generator.. I asked the manager and he said that it happens often...disappointed

Beautiful neighborhood, but due to the rain did not give to enjoy, we went to the madalosso big and definitely not worth it, who better try another restaurant

I was very expectative, but it was very frustrating.
I think you exaggerated your assessments. The Av of the restaurants is poorly preserved and poorly wooded. On a sunny day you'll get bad.
If you arrive around 15:00 for lunch you'll be frustrated. They'll all be closed or closing.
There are no options for a light lunch.
Just rounds of pasta and pizza.
The only thing he saved was an excellent ice cream shop in a small gallery.

An Italian neighborhood filled with galleries, shops and restaurants, walking around you can notice that it is a place of greater purchasing power. Very nice to post photos with your loved ones and record souvenirs of the tour.

A neighborhood that denotes the Italian tradition in both architecture and cuisine. The restaurant Madalosso was what motivated us to go to the neighborhood. Durigan winery has a museum and shop with wine and embedded products. The Florybal chocolateria has a store with a location adapted for children to have fun with the Easter theme, which seems to be permanent.
