I and my wife had the privilege of knowing this wonderful museum of sacred art and culture, located next to the Batalhão da Rota in São Paulo, part of the structure of the Monastery of the Light, with easy access by the metro Tiradentes, where on Saturdays the entrance is franked and on the other days the entrance value is R$ 6,00. Extremely preserved and organized, with a wealth of sacred sculptures, paintings, objects and various religious items, with ease, comfort and safety to the visitor, who in about 02 hours can travel all the spaces of the museum and have a considerable view of the collection. After this visit, you can still know the Church idealized and erected by Frei Santo Antônio de Sant'Ana Galvão, whose mortal remains are buried there, and we attend the Mass of 16:00. We also took the blessed pills from Frei Galvão next to the church and visited the space that keeps the permanent prespice, donated by Industrial "Ciccilo" Matarazzo. It was a wonderful day in every respect.

An interesting experience. Lots of history and culture, very beautiful images and sculptures. We saw the exhibition of nativity scenes from all over the world, I recommend visiting the giant nativity scene which is to the right, when leaving the mansion. There was a church next door where a mass was going on, very beautiful too. There is a garden in the center of the mansion that is worth sitting and staying there for a while. We visited around 4pm. We parked the car on the street, between the museum and the ROTA battalion, super peaceful.

Great option, probably one of the best museums of its kind. Small but comprehensive collection, located on a specially beautiful and historical building. The nativity scenes are specially interesting, especially the one located on the annex.

I went to visit the Museum of Sacred Art on a Friday, in the morning, in this Christmas atmosphere in which we all became very sensitive, nostalgic and sought to connect even more with the divine, to be grateful. It is right in front of the Tiradentes Metro station, has air conditioning in some rooms, you cannot enter with a large bag, backpack, or eating or drinking anything. It has a locker, there are working drinking fountains, women's and men's bathrooms, there is Frei Galvão's church, a small shop, a café/snack bar, parking. The display of nativity scenes only takes place on a single floor, in several corridors. The outdoor area is very beautiful for taking photos, I was very moved by every detail of the sculptures, colors, images of the saints and a certain peace and calm that the place brings. It took me about 1h30 to visit, the ticket price was R$6.00 (entry is free on Saturdays), good accessibility for people with disabilities, enjoy!

I visited the museum on November 4th in the morning. The reception staff were very kind. The two interior employees had the opposite procedure. They had their cell phones on, playing horrible "music", loud enough to disturb visitors. One of them, knowing that I would complain about him, showed hostility towards me, treating me with an air of defiance. In both cases, they are "professionals" working in the wrong place. A SACRED ART museum should better select the people it hires. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The museum is small, but it's great to see saints from colonial times. Entry is free on Saturdays. Attached are the Neapolitan nativity scene and the Frei Galvão church.

O acervo do museu são lindos, tem todo uma história cronológica da exposição. O valor da entrada é praticamente simbólico. Vale muito a pena, também tem o imperdível presépio Napolitano e a Capela de Frei Galvão.

O museu é de fácil acesso e a entrada é bem em conta. O acervo possui muitas obras interessantes e de diversos períodos históricos. Além de tudo, é uma construção colonial barroca belíssima no centro de São Paulo

A resposta relacionada ao preço do ingresso já foi postada por outros avaliadores. Gostaria de acrescentar que o MAS está localizado a poucos metros da estação Tiradentes do metrô e que tem estacionamento gratuito de terça a sexta-feira.
