S'il était gratuit, je vous aurai conseillé d'y faire un petit détour, ne fusse que parce qu'il s'agit là d'un arbre d'un âge certain (1500 ans ?). Mais bien honnêtement rien d'incroyable ici et en tous cas, pas de quoi faire un détour. Allez, on l'a vu, on n'en parle plus.

Giant Banyan Tree
We had to stop by the Banyan Tree Park in Yangshuo to see the 1400 old banyan tree. The tree is huge and is a symbol of good fortune. I have not seen a banyan tree before. It is a good sight for tourists. You will come here only if you have plenty of time, otherwise skip this sight.

Kost bijna niets. Maar is ook geen vertier. Boom is zondermeer indrukwekkend. Onnodig om met bamboe bootje te varen, en dan langs commercianten te worden geleid. niet vreselijk.

Ja det er et træ. Et stort flot træ, men så er der heller ikke mere i det. Vi cyklede lige forbi, vi brugte omkring 5 minutter der inde.

We were biking in the area so we stopped in to see this majestic old tree. Apparently if you walk around it three times it will bring good fortune, health and something else, maybe luck! What the heck we covered our bases and made sure we circled it three times:)

This was a bit of a bust for me. We had trouble finding the actual tree (which may seem hard to believe), the park is not up kept particularly well. We got lost a few separate times prior to seeing the tree which was somewhat of a bust anyways. You could appreciate the history of the tree, and the fact that it is still standing, but not a must see for me.

The big banyan tree is located around halfway along the Shi Li Hua Lang Scenic Area. Coming from either way by foot takes 30 minutes or so.
The entrance fee was 19 CNY per adult. However, inside was only a big banyan tree on a meadow.

Je viens de lire exactement ce que nous avons ressenti : payer juste pour voir un arbre... Même si la campagne autour est belle, on peut la voir de partout gratuitement.
A signaler : on nous a demandé 20 yuans pour la petite traversée à l'intérieur du jardin, marquée sur tous les panneaux 10 yuans. ???
