Unique local shops and restaurants are in this area. Free parking great restaurants (hot and hot fish club) Bottella, cool coffee house Red Cat serves coffee, wine and sandwiches in relaxed hip vibe. Stone Hallow farmstead sells really nice unique gifts made here. Son of a Butcher is a fantastic real butcher shop with a large selection of dry aged meats, huge selection of high quality cheeses, great gifts of rubs, sauces and olive oil. Killer fresh seafood for sale. I will be ordering from these guys online.

A little too crowded for my taste. Because all the vendors are smooshed so close, its not super for those who may still have anxieties from the pandemic. Food and drinks being sold there though were really good and worth the trip.

My daughter likes to come here to buy flowers. I come to eat. Love the Heavenly Donut truck. We sometimes get fresh vegetables also. Love to pick up a pie from Pie Lab, too. We keep meaning to to to Greensboro to eat there but have not done so yet. We loved the sweet tea tent, but they haven’t been lately. Love After Midnight Salsa, too!! Then, run by Bread Works to pick up baguettes. Once it gets cooler again, can’t wait to take the dog!!

The Market at Pepper Place is a great way to spend a Saturday morning, especially during the peak of summer growing season. Everything is locally sourced, from the produce, baked goods and flowers to the artist and craftsmen. This is a pet friendly, family friendly environment with live music too! The selection of vegetables and fruits is amazing. There are delicious options for breakfast and yummy baked goods to savor with a cup of coffee. Most of the farmers/vendors will have plastic shopping bags, but bringing your own reusable ones is recommended. I suggest taking a walk through the entire market before making your selections, because there are so many options. Go early, grab some breakfast and a pastry with a fresh squeezed juice, or a coffee when you get there and enjoy!

Organic farmers bring their products to you every Saturday morning! Fruit, vegetables, baked goods, flowers... ah! Breathe it in. Then, grab a cup o’ joe and listen to the live music. The people and dog watching is wonderful - gives you hope for humanity. Artisans have set up tents for their jewelry, woodworks, health aids, and clothing (sometimes). More live music and food trucks! This place has got it going on, so get on down there. You won’t be sorry.

We visited the Farmer's Market on a Sat here and it was a wonderful experience. If you are in the area, or need something to fill time this is it! we also brought home wonderful fruits and veggies

This farmers market in the heart of Birmingham just gets bigger and better every year. Lots of live music and food options. Lots of fresh veggies and fruits for purchase. Great place to bring kids and dogs! Come hungry.

Pepper Place is my favorite place to go on Saturday. It's by far the best dog watching event each week. The market has grown so much over the years and it is just incredible. So many local vendors come out and have really neat products. One side is produce and the other is arts and crafts. Everyone loves the Piper & Leaf tea tent, so make sure you stop by there. Don't forget to visit the brick and mortar shops surrounding the market!
This is a rain or shine event, so just bring your umbrella and jacket on cold rainy days!

I went here with a great friend. It is a cool place. The prices are very reasonable. There is a fun buzz about the market.

Enjoyed walking around seeing what all was for sale. It’s an open air fruit & veggie market that also has local artisans & fresh baked goods. Something for everyone. Only open 7-12 Saturday mornings. Carry a bag/basket if you plan on buying produce. Also beautiful fresh flowers. All ages & lots bring their dogs. Even a truck there with homemade dog treats!

Vendors sell pastries, sausage biscuits, hot dogs, breakfast burritos, coffee, doughnuts, iced tea and more- plenty of goodies to choose from. On hot days I love to get a fruit popsicle from Steel City Pops for a light breakfast!
