ไดรฟ์ที่น่าสนใจที่จะต้องพูดถึงอย่างน้อย 1 ชั่วโมงขับรถไปประมาณ 23 กิโลเมตร แคบ เนื่องจากถนน (และส่วนใหญ่หวังดี) ภรรยาผมก็กลัว แม้จะมีประสบการณ์ด้านหลังล้อ ดังนั้นจึงอาจไม่เหมาะสำหรับทุกคน เรามีประสบการณ์ที่น่าทึ่งวิว ทิวทัศน์ที่สวยงาม & สัตว์ป่าที่น่าสนใจ สำหรับการหยุดดื่มบนทางลง และมีความสุขกับการมีชาวบ้านบางร้านอาหารกิ๊กเกิ้ล ช่วงบ่ายอย่างสนุกสนาน และคุ้มกับค่าตั๋วเล็ก (50 kuna ต่อคน) โปรดระวัง ถ้าคุณสูบบุหรี่ ว่ามีไฟไหม้ในเรามาถึงต้นไม้ก่อน เพราะถูกทั้งร้อน & สภาพอากาศแห้ง

Brilliant experience

Really enjoyed the biokovo skywalk, in spite of choosing the only cloudy day of our holiday 😀😀
We found it a little bit confusing when we booked - you have to book in advance or you can’t go up the mountain. It is unclear when booking whether the time slot is entry to the mountain road, or entry to the skywalk.
We therefore arrived at the entry to the mountain 45 mins early: the time slot is actually entry to the mountain, so you really don’t need to arrive early. There is a barrier across the entrance which they lift on the hour, and only 20 cars are allowed up in each hour time slot.
Took about 40 mins to drive up to the skywalk: it is a narrow road, but there are lots of passing places and it never felt unsafe.
The skywalk itself is really impressive- great views in spite of the cloud.
You can only spend about 20 minutes on the skywalk, which we thought was long enough.
You can then go on to the top of the mountain or go back down: going down is much easier than the drive up, as all the cars coming up come together. We just parked in one of the bigger passing places and let them all go up past us.
Wish we had brought a picnic- there are various places on the mountain with picnic benches, and there is a restaurant as well, although we didn’t try it.
All in all, a really good trip out

Sunset and late visit

We booked the last time in schedule on July 11 19:00. All skywalk was ok, quite many meople so a bit complicated to take pictures, but probably that’s natural for mid summer. View from the top perfect nothing to add.
However after closing the skywalk we slowly headed down the mountain and stopped in many spots for pictures or just short stops to walk arround. I think we spent more than 1,5 hour slowly moving and that was the best experience. We seen probably the best sunset in my life, also because we were in last group there were no traffic at all. No cars moving towards to mountain top so no stress - empty road.
Everybody recommends early morning as the best time, but due our visit in Makarska there were possibility to book only online so everybody came on schedule so no jams and waiting in queue. If there is possibily I recommend to choose evening times because sunset is something outstanding.

Nice experience but the view is medium

Nice, sturdy construction. Walking on it it's an interesting experience especially for those afraid of heights. The view it's nice but far from spectacular, better view from Vosac cabin. Time spent on skywalk is limited. The spot is popular, luckily they have limited the number of cars that can go up in an hour. Road to the skywalk is pretty scary for unexperience drivers. Buy tickets online, in time, so you can choose exactly the time you want to enter the park.

Great birdwatching area

Beautiful mountain range which stretches for miles in both directions. Lower levels contain areas of forest. For those interested in birdwatching, we seen both Golden Oriole and Nightingale here.

Einfahrt für den Skywalk braucht geduld. Von oben hat man einen super Blick auf Makarska und ans Meer. Da die Strassen eng sind, ist es verständlich warum so wenig Autos gelassen werden. Bis Sv. Jure unbedingt fahren.

Best experience and worst!

If you are scared of heights, go somewhere else! The narrow road up the mountainbike is one-file and with sparse if any railing. Horses, donkeys and cows wandered on the road as well. I was scared sh*tless, however it was all worth it. The view was breathtaking and the experience memorable.

Adrenalin pur - aber mit Belohnung!

Lange Wartezeit muss man in Kauf nehmen, nur 25 Autos dürfen zu jeder vollen Stunde die Straße hinauf fahren. Warum das so ist, wird jedem klar, dem sich die Schranke öffnet und die Auffahrt beginnt.
Eine enge, kaum gesicherte Straße führt 13 km in zahlreichen Haarnadelkurven nach oben. Wer bis zum Gipfel des Sveti Jure fährt ist für die rund 23 km gut 1,5 Stunden unterwegs. Der Blick in den steilen Abgrund, der Gegenverkehr und der steile Anstieg lassen den Adrenalinspiegel nach oben schnellen.
Eine Pause auf der Hälfte der Strecke, um den neuen Skywalk zu erleben, ist für Adrenalinjunkies voll zu empfehlen. Zumal kein Personal darauf achtet, ob die zugelassene Anzahl an Personen eingehalten wird.
Zum Glück fahren von dort aus nur noch wenige tatsächlich zum Gipfel des Sveti Jure und lassen damit ein tolles Erlebnis mit großartigem Rundumblick aus. Die Straße hinauf wird nochmals enger und steiler, aber man wird zum Schluss wirklich belohnt. Der Blick ist atemberaubend, so wie die Fahrt hinauf.
Fazit: die Erfahrung kann für Autofahrer und Beisassen grenzwertig werden, ist es aber auf jeden Fall wert, einmal gemacht zu haben, wenn man dort in der Gegend Urlaub macht.

Lovely place to visit to which I keep coming back

I went to Biokovo mountain also in the period before Croatian war, with my parents, and now I keep comning back alone, always with my motorbike. It is one of the best locations for motorbikinig in Croatia, although the road leading to Sv Jure peak is in a poor condition and park generally overwhelmed with too many visitors. Hopefully they will soon complete the cable car from Makarska! Do visit the Vrata Biokova restaurant

It was really high and dangerously. So we bought a trip. In the mountains was really nice, perfect views.
But 15 minuts in mountains is not enought.
