Jeff was there on time to meet us as we got off our ship. He spoke very good English & we all had a lot of fun with him while he showed us all the places we requested.

Tour customized for our interests

We had a fantastic day with our guide, Michael. He took us to the places that we were interested in visiting... Iguana sanctuary, chocolate factory, shopping, lunch, and snorkeling/beach time at Bananarama. We had previously gone to the ziplining, sloths and monkeys. While each of those experiences were awesome, we wanted to do some different things during this trip.
We had a terrific day, and we look forward to visiting again!

Perfect customizable tour

This tour was wonderful! I was able to email them before we left for our cruise to discuss our plan, and also outside the port to let them know we were early. They responded quickly which was great to get on the road early. The mini bus was very clean with air conditioning. Ron was such a good tour guide. He answered all our questions and gave as a lot of information on the way. He was very friendly and seemed to know everyone. The best part of this tour is that we could choose what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to stay, with no waiting for a big group.

Ladies in the Wild!

We visited an animal sanctuary and got to pet a sloth and spider monkeys. The tour guides there were knowledgeable and friendly. We also loved the glass bottom boat ride. Katie made our tour personal and easy. She knew everything about her island and clearly loved showing it off!

Disorganized and wasn’t really anything to customize/see

The driver was super nice- so it’s not a fault of his… but there was no plan of where to go and what to see around the island. It was just time spent in a taxi most of the day. Not worth the price for what we got to see. Kids were extremely bored just being driven one way around the island and same way back.
And when we first got there they told us we had to pay (even though we already paid and had a confirmation) they tried to tell us to go back to the ship and figure it out even though we purchased directly fe trip advisor. Again very disorganized and frustrating experience to just be taxied around.

Hi good night were reslly not shore what you lean when you said organized when your tour is customized so we take you were ever you want to go roatan is 36 miles long and our road dont circle the island so thats not our fault if you didn't had something plan we did our job which was to drive you around the island if you want to go to a specific spot that was our job so we really dont know what you mean that we had to organized your tour when is was customized

Great excursion! Great Tour guide!

Jimmie gave us a good private tour of the island. We felt safe and well taken care of. He also made sure to bring us back to the ship on time. . We sure did have a great time. Thanks Jimmie. Highly recommend this island tour and ask for Jimmie. You'll be in good hands.

Highlight of our trip

This was our second time using Roatan Adventure Tours. This is the absolute best excursion you can choose. We were able to squeeze in so much during our 8 hours on the island. We started with a zip line, which included monkeys and sloths. Next, we went horseback riding. We stopped at the chocolate store. Finally, we drove to the opposite side of the island and did a mangrove boat tour. We enjoyed everything thoroughly. We even had time to slip in some tropical drinks and snacks. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Island sites or directly to West End beach

Used the service in combination with a cruise docking at Roatan. It was easy to find the driver outside the harbour and he took good care of us. Regarding the sites. The chocolate factory was interesting but crowded. The rum factory was more or less a shop. If you’re looking for good rum then this is not the place. They only have rum up to 3YO. Otherwise flavoured rum and rum for mixing. Nice view over the island from the shop. We stopped at a roadside food place which was a very local and good experience. At the end we went to West End Beach. A nice place with many locals. You don’t need to go to a fee based beach. At West End you have a lot of small shops and bars on poles in the shoreline. Nice atmosphere and perhaps an alternative to the mentioned stops. Go there with a taxi directly then and plan for at least 3-4 hours if you want swim, eat and have drinks.
