My family had the best time ever on our Roatan excursion with Afan! He is a terrific guide and very knowledgeable with the local culture and history. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 7 to 76 and we all had an amazing time ziplining, touring the animal park with sloths and monkeys, visiting the chocolate factory & rum factory and then an amazing lunch by the beach. Afan was terrific with communication up until the time we met him and was waiting for us at the port. He was informative about the island and was great with our kids in the group...he even found a radio station with our daughter's favorite music and watched her nap in the van for us so we could shop in the rum factory! We plan to have him help us arrange a vacation to the island so we can come back and spend more time in Roatan. Thank you for showing our family a terrific adventure that we'll never forget Afan!!

Great excursion. Loved the monkeys and sloths. Owner-guide even brought us homemade empanadas that his mother-in-law made. Highly recommend. S

Our guide Dale was great - Very knowledgaeable and friendly. Lots of tour operators when you exit the port, but Dale text when we arrived and was waiting for us - Made stops at the chocolate factory, and rum tasting - But the highlight was the Money /Sloth sanctuary - Dale offered us suggestions and let us decide what else we wanted to do - See the beaches, have lunch etc. It was a great day!

Dale was awesome. So knowledgeable and kind. He took us to all of our destinations, explaining everything along the way. The sloth farm and Monkeys were a huge hit for the children. Lunch along the waterfront to end the day.
The only thing to know, is that the port is very busy and can be hectic to find the guide. This is not the company’s fault though. Just take your time to look or ask the other travel companies. They work together well and actually called our company for us. It helped us find Dale faster.

Afan is the BEST. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, polite and funny AND he knows about everything Roatan. I would HIGHLY recommend his tours and any other tidbits of information he has to share. We had a blast at the monkeys and sloth park.

Fantastic experience! Lola was very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend this tour and we will definitely book with them again!

Afen was AMAZING! He was very polite and punctual. He picked up from the port and quickly escorted us to our frist excursion. Ziplines! He walked half of my party to the gear loading zone and the other half to a watching zone. My parents didn't ride the ziplines but Afen made sure they were comfortable and made sure they had coffee/juice while the other half of the party was busy zipping down 11 lines. After ziplines, he had a tour guide ready for us to visit all the animals on the gounds. Monkies, birds, and SLOTHS! We got to carry the sloths! We then headed to the yellow semi submarine but before this stop, he blessed us with his suegras (mother inlaws) amazing empanadas. They were delicious! We then loaded a semi submarine that let us see parts of coral reef and fishes that a snorkeling experience would let you see. Finally, we then set off to the beach. The beach was nice but extremely crowed. Which is expected because it was during Christmas break. Overall, I was extremely happy I booked a private tour with Afen instead of a big and crazy tour company. He took good care of us. If you are unsure if you should book with Afen well this is your sign to book with him. The whole process was smooth and stress free. 1,000% recommended this tour!

Perfect outing
Efen was a great guide. We learned so much about the island during our time with him. The animal sanctuary was unforgettable, the chocolate factory was not to be missed, and the rum tasting was totally worth it.

Our guide, Afan, was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. The tour felt individualized to us. I wish we had more time to spend together.

I wish we could have given 10 stars because Afan was simply the BEST! We did not know how great this excursion would be but we hit the jack pot with Do Roatan Day Tours. Afan made us feel like family from the very beginning and was very knowledgeable of the Island and places to see. We absolutely loved the Monkeys and sloths. So glad we didn't use the cruise ship tour because we got so much more personal attention with Afan. Thank you for making our experience in Roatan unforgettable. You are Awesome.
