Amazing first dive

I did my Junior Open Water course here with Steve. He was very helpful and made my experience great. Loved diving, saw some sharks in phi phi and the
Boat staff were accommodating as well as talkative.

Bästa dykcentret på Koh Lanta!

Superhärlig och underbar personal, med fanatiskt service både för personer som vill prova på dykning för första gången och mer erfarna dykare. Stora och fräscha båtar och när man kommer in i butiken möts man alltid av ett stort leendet. Vi kommer helt komma tillbaka! //Trion från Arvidsjaur

Vilka underbara människor!
Jag fick äran att få ha William som instruktör. Super duktig och fick mig att känna mig lugn o trygg genom hela resan till mitt dykcert. Så stor tack till honom!

Sen måste jag säga ett stort tack till alla som var med i teamet som såg till att mina första dykupplevelser blev dem bästa.

Så pass att jag har vågat mig på att boka ett nattdykt om några dagar.

Jag kan varmt rekommendera detta duktiga gäng som kämpar och ge ett roligt, varmt och lärorikt äventyr.

Jag och min man har dykt på många olika ställen i världen och med många olika dykcenter. Kon-Tiki går upp i topp på listan över bra dykcenter. Utrustningen är i jättefint skick, de har en av de absolut fräschaste båtarna vi varit på (som samtidigt även serverade den bästa maten). Otroligt proffsig personal som fick dagen att flyta på för oss kunder helt utan stress.
Vi hade tre dykdagar under semestern, och tre olika instruktörer som alla jobbat för Kon-Tiki flera säsonger, vilket såklart är en stor fördel på många sätt. Dykgrupper om max 4 per grupp.
En STOR eloge även till båtpersonalen, som underhöll båten så väl, och gjorde dagen extra trevlig för alla kunder!
Det var enbart en positiv upplevelse under de dagar vi var ute med dem och kommer fortsätta dyka med Kon-Tiki när vi är på Lanta, och bättre betyg går väl egentligen knappt att ge än det!!

Amazing Experience, Amazing Staff!

I recently undertook my Open Water diving certification through Kon-Tiki Lanta and I couldn't have asked for a better place to do it! The company were very organised and efficient with everything- from the course to the day trips out for snorkelling/diving. Every member of staff were highly accommodating and knowledgeable. My diving instructor Elvar was amazing at his job, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor to begin my journey in to diving! His teaching style is highly effective and his personality made the whole experience unforgettable... any one that has been/gets taught by Elvar should consider themselves very lucky!
Overall, I couldn’t recommend a better place to dive/snorkel.

Great staff, very nice boat and amazing snorkling experience!

All the journey started with a very punctual pick up at the hotel. We came on time at the boat and all was very well orginized. All the staff was very professional, we were devided in different groups (small) and each group got it's own instructor. We got breakfast and enjoyed a nice and smooth trip to Koh-Haa. We got rehydrated after every dive (3 in total) and with food/lunch and refresments available during the whole trip. They even brought a professional photografer with us who took great pics that I will treasure for ever!. I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, how well they took care of us and all the equipment after every dive and at the end cleaning and putting all in order for our return. When we arrived to the Kon-Tiki Center, a transport was waiting for us and took us back right to outside the hotel's main entrance, I really recommend Kon-tiki Team for any snorkling or dicing experience. Next time I come to Koh-Lanta I will take for sure my dive-certificate with them! Thanks a lot Kon-tiki for this amazing day!

En fantastisk heldag med snorkling och dykning vid Koh Haa. En mycket fin upplevelse. Tre stopp på väl utvalda platser. Mycket trevlig, kunnig och tålmodig personal ombord som tog hand om oss alla på bästa sätt. Frukost med riktigt gott kaffe. God lunch. Pannkakor till mellanmål, frukt och gott om vatten och läsk. Kan rekommenderas

Poor customer service

We checked that Kon-Tiki is going to Hin Daeng / Muang on Thursday January 30th. That's what they said when we stopped at their shop few days ago.

This afternoon when we went there again for book this trip, they've changed their plan. When we walked to the shop there was a thai lady asking what do we want. I said that we would like to take the Hin Daeng/Muang trip tomorrow but it's not on the board that's outside, are you still going there ? There was a western man behind the desk and he just shaked his head, never said a word. Thai lady said: "maybe no, but we go to Koh Haa on Friday". I said that we have already booked a trip on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We would like to go to Hin Daeng/Muang tomorrow like we were told that you guys do every Sunday and Thursday. She said again "but what about Koh Haa on Friday ?". I said no thanks, like I just said we have a trip for that day already. No explantion why the trip is not going tomorrow like their schedule says on the website and what we have been told few days earlier.

Then we left and went across the road to Blue Planet Divers and booked the trip. Much better customer service just few meters apart.

Never used Kon-Tiki and after that I'm never going to use their services.

I am truly sorry about not providing you with adequate information at your visit in the shop, but thanks for trying to book with us in the first place! We just, a few minutes before you entering the shop, had a cancellation that forced the sad decision to cancel the trip. This is a reality sometimes, could be to sickness, acute service of boat or bad weather, that trips gets cancelled. Hence we were just in the transition in trying to find alternative boats for other customers (what i was urgently doing behind the desk). Therefore the sign was not yet of the street and my collegue was a bit confused. Had i paid attention to your conversation i would have been clearer, i am sorry about that. Finally though, i believe that a "1" on Tripadvisor is a bit harsh for a few minutes interaction, never been with us before and never gotten to experience our excursions. I hope however you had a nice day of diving with our friends next door. Have a nice vacation

Excellent dive shop

I contacted Kon-tiki Diving Koh Lanta when I was planning to work my way up the west coast of Thailand and dive as many sites as I could in 3 weeks. They were always quick to respond to my emails answering all my questions and making suggestions to maximise my experience. I dived with them from their dive shops in Ao Nang and Koh Lanta.

I spent 3 days diving from Koh Lanta including day trips to: Hin Daeng and Hin Muang, Koh Haa, and Koh Bida. These are all "must see" dive sites in Thailand.

The service they provided was second to none, from morning hotel pick-up (always on time) and throughout the day. The dive boats were well organised and run to ensure the best experience for divers and the few along for snorkelling. Lunches were freshly cooked by the boat crew and better than much else I have had on dive boats! The dive guides I dived with were all clearly well trained to provide a top quality service to guests.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kon-tiki to any diver and would dive with them again if I go back to Koh Lanta.
