Went diving with Hidden Depth yesterday and it was a 5/5 experience.

I have seen plenty of shops around the world, and took my time to decide what shop to dive with on Lanta as there are many. I decided to go with them because their staff and owner seemed enthusiastic about their sites, fair prices, and, big plus: They have a speed boat which makes this rather a half day trip than a full day trip. I work in the afternoons so it was great to go diving in the morning and then be back at around 1.30 to start my work day.

The attention to me was very personal, I even had a lovely instructor/guide just to myself (shout out to her!). I arrived a little bit moody that day due to personal stuff, and she and the owner cheered me right up. I know its not their job, so just noticing I'm having a bad day and being really sweet and kind was something I would never have expected and that was very welcome and kind. Surely made my day.

Boat crew, briefing, equipment - all was very well done, in great condition, and I couldnt have asked for a better day. I'll be back for sure.

Also as a female solo traveller, it's nice to be with a shop with so many female instructors, as I have experienced a looooot of male energy around dive shops that can be a bit tough for solo women.

Increible buceo y equipo

Koh lanta es una isla increible, tranquila con unos spots de buceo preciosos, para todos los niveles y no hay nadie mejor para mostrároslo que los chicos de hidden. Gracias a Alo y Ale por hacerme sentir en casa y compartir tanto juntos. Y a Juan es especial por ser un diver y persona increibles. Nos vemos la temporada que viene para el dive master 🤙🏻

Un centro de buceo espectacular, formadores de todos los idiomas, un trato espectacular desde el momento de la llegada hasta la despedida. El personal de 10, tanto Juan (el dueño) como cualquiera del staff del centro Victor, Alo, Megan, Jana… Sin olvidarme de cada uno del personal Thai que también forman parte del increíble equipo humano de Hidden Depths Diving! Sin duda alguna todos ellos han hecho que nuestra estancia en Koh Lanta haya sido única y espectacular!!

This diving school deserves 6 stars

Why can’t I give 6 stars, from the reception with all information, the preparation, equipment, boat everything was perfect. Foremost the instructions given upfront and last but not least my more then excellent dive master Meghan. She was really cool and relaxed and in control every moment even at Hin Mueng where we had some currents. Checking your status frequently. Juan the owner and his team made my 2 days with them a real big success and for sure I will ccome back and highly recommend them.

Was pleased I choose Hidden Depth on the spontaneous trip to Koh Lanta. I was a little sceptical with having a pass bad experience in Asia but with the team about & Joan the service was always there & very reassuring. Thank you for my fun dive experience!

Fantastic diving

Fantastic crew and high class diving experience. Did couple of fun dives, and was not disappointed. Dive masters and instructors are friendly and attentive. Diving packages include not only meals hut also electrolyte drinks!
Eco-friendly approach transpires from everything in their operations. Also seems to be a valuable member of local and diving community in the area, collaborating with other dive shops and supporting local employees.

So yes, highly recommended! Thanks, Hidden depths, for all of it.

Exactly what i was looking for!

I just came back from a 2 month long dive trip along the Andaman coast of Thailand. Got this diveshop recommended from other divers i met in Koh Lipe.

Hidden Depths is a great diveshop! Excellent crew. Nothing but good things to say about this dive setup.
If you are thinking about diving Hin Daeng/Hin Muang (wich imho you should be:) ) this is the place to go.

Im definetly going here again!

THE dive company to use on Lanta

This is an impressive dive company, offering first rate service and diving. Juan was super efficient and helpful in responding to email questons ahead of my visit, and he and his staff were outstanding in their focus on customer service. With a max of 4 divers per guide, this was the most relaxed and professional diving I have encountered in 20 years of diving. The speedboat dramatically cuts travel time to the dive sites, as well as ensuring you arrive ahead of other boats. I like the practice of serving lunch back on the terrace after returning from dives, rather than eating while rocking in the ocean. And served breakfast is a plus for those who need it! Guides were uniformally friendly and professional. THE dive company to use on Lanta!

Great Dive After a Long Gap

This was one of the highlights of my short stay on Ko Lanta. My friend recommended I dive at Ko Phi Phi and that is exactly where we went. I was able to see a few turtles, lots of tropical fish, and the water was a perfect temperature. The dive school was very understanding with my time constraints and the fried bananas between dives were a nice touch.

I paid about $20 extra to do a refresher as I had not dove in more than a decade and the crew really helped me feel comfortable and get me back into diving.

We did a discovery scuba dive yesterday and what an experience!! From the first meeting with Juan that went through what we'd be doing and putting us at ease to the amazing instructor Jan that I had. Jan was great from the moment I stepped into the water making sure I felt comfortable before I did any descent. He kept in constant communication with me and made sure I didn't miss any wildlife on the way. I felt very sea sick on the way to the dove but any gave me a few tips (keep looking at the horizon) and kept checking in with me to make sure I was OK. Overall it was an amazing experience made better by the instructor I had
