Massage therapists who actually do work on your body

I get massages quite often (Thailand, Bali, US) and the massage therapists here really do work on your body for the entire time you get a massage. Kan especially is my go-to massage therapist, and is very intuitive at finding knots, working on knots, and relieving pressure points in my body. She can adjust pressure and was great when asked for hard/strong pressure.

I've had some tightness that other massage therapists have struggled to relieve but Kan was amazing at targeting those spots with a lot of technique and the right amount of pressure. I was so impressed I returned every week for a massage.

The massages are more expensive than others in the area, but it's worth the price for the quality of massage that you get. I tried other cheaper massages and they didn't quite compare to the level of service I received from Kan, Moo, Pim, and the other massage therapists here.

NO privacy what-so-ever.

The massage itself was ok but I could not relax. There are several beds next to each other and no one bothered to even draw a curtain. I eventually asked her to draw the curtain as there was a lady on the bed next to me and I'm sure we both wanted privacy. She did draw the curtain but its about 1m wide so does not cover the entire bed. Privacy is seriously lacking. I see from other negative reviews that ronaldo1960 comes back with scathing remarks upon negative comments. Ronaldo, you may do so, I won't waste more time by reading it. Reader, make of it what you will.

Best and most professional massage I had on Koh Pangan!

Best massage I had on Koh Pangan. Very well trained and professional! That’s certainly a big difference to most other places. Here you can for example easily discuss before what level of pressure you need for the massage and they give you the right masseur for that.

we were in koh phangan 15 days and every day we had a massage at Revive massage. Very knowledgeable and kind. True specialized therapists. Thank you for what you have done for us !

Massothérapeute, j'ai voulu essayer le massage thaï ici. J'ai trouvé la masseuse très professionnelle, connaissant très bien le massage thaï. J'ai trouvé très dommage qu'elle ne m'a pas demandé des informations quant à la pression. C'était trop pour mon corps et elle ne l'a pas senti du tout. J'ai eu mal pendant des jours au dos mais beaucoup de tensions (mollets, bras, etc.) avaient disparu. Cependant, elle m'a travaillé trop durement la nuque et j'ai eu mal après coup pendant des jours. Je suis d'avis que la nuque ne devrait pas se toucher.

I would like to write a review about this fantastic massage salon, and after reading the reviews I think there are two on the island with the same name or am I crazy?
What strikes me is that the 1 star reviews are always written by women, do they suffer from the moon or just their monthly period? I am a bit of a massage addict I have to admit and have been to REVIVE many times and their quality is far above average, the saloon is super clean and there is a great atmosphere!
They also clearly indicate that an hour of Thai massage is for us (tourists) and a Thai always chooses 90 minutes or more!
For me this is the number 1 of Koh Phangan.
They are the best forget the rest !!!

Unbedingt reservieren!
Besonders zu Empfehlen : TO (sprich tu); bin seit 20 jähren Thaimassage süchtig.
Kenne mich wirklich aus , aber was diese Masseuse draufhat ist sensationell. Bin mir da
unter anderem mit der Chefin vom Seaflower einig: Im Moment ist sie die beste auf der Insel!
Laden immer voll , am besten am Tag vorher beim netten holländischen Chef anmelden.

My husband and I visited Revive Massage after reading all the great reviews. To be honest we were really shocked. We chose a coconut oil massage for one hour each. The lady giving me the massage started by smashing her elbows in between my shoulders - they cracked around 20 times. I squieeked and asked her to please not be so hard on me. I weigh 50 kilos and I dont have strong mussels.. She apologized and started massaging me with oil, very strong. Most of the time she was using her elbows and didnt hit the mussles but often the bones, which was really painful. I have been coming to Thailand since 20 years getting many massages and I know its not necessary. I have asked her to be more gentle another two times but after 10/15 miutes I couldnt deal with it anymore. I asked her to stop and my husband decided to leave with me. Afterwards he thanked me for speaking up because he had been massaged in his kidneys with the ladys knuckles the whole time. The ladies were really polite about the situation and apologized. We know they didnt mean bad or wanted to do any harm. Still we decided to leave and didnt feel well for the rest of the day. We only had to pay half the price when we left after 10 minutes. But we still feel like we want other people to be aware that it could happen to them too.
