I came to Sri Lanka for the second time to travel with friends across the country. We chose to travel with our pilot captain and bus driver dammy guided by Chathura who cares about his guests, has an incredible knowledge about nature, wildlife and culture and always gives his best to make the stay a special one for everybody. Since we have already seen the hotspots and tourist places the first time we came, we chose to see other places this time. We started in Negombo across the country up to Trincomalee along the coast towards Udawalawe national park, sinharaja forest, diyaluma waterfalls and finally we went to Adam's peak to fulfill a dream to climb the pilgrims' way during the season. Even though the weather conditions were not always the best Chathura always found another solution to spend the day other then the program we planned. I know I will come back because there is so much more to see and time to spend with a driver and guide who became friends. We laughed, we danced, we loved the time we spend...

Rundreise in Sri Lanka - Immer wieder mit Chathura

Wir haben uns zum 2. Mal für eine 2-wöchige Rundreise mit Chathura entschieden. Nach unserer Rundreise im November 2017 war es für uns selbstverständlich wieder mit Chathura die Rundreise durchzuführen. Die Rundreise führte uns von Negombo über Kurunegala und Nilaveli nach Arugambay, Diyaluma-Wasserfall, Uduwalawa-National Park, Sinharaja-Regenwald nach Hikkaduwa und über den Adams Peak zurück nach Negombo. Im Vorfeld haben wir unsere Wünsche Chathura mitgeteilt, der uns die Tour entsprechend zusammengestellt hat und sich um die Unterkünfte gekümmert hat bzw. auf unsere Hotelwünsche eingegangen ist. Wir wurden von Chathura am Flughafen sehr herzlich empfangen und starteten unsere Rundreise mit unserem Fahrer Dhummi im sehr gut gepflegten Van mit individuell regulierbaren AC. Trinkwasser im Van war immer vorhanden. Es war wieder eine unvergessliche Rundreise mit so vielen neuen Eindrücken, neuem Wissen über das Land und die Natur und nicht zuletzt traumhaften Stränden am Meer. Chathura ist ein leidenschaftlicher Tourguide, sehr vertrauensvoll, hilfsbereit, motivierend und flexibel, an allem interessiert, sehr umsorgt um uns und immer bestrebt alles zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit durchzuführen. Wir danken Chathura für diese bereits 2. unvergessliche Rundreise, für die gemeinsam durchgeführten Wanderungen, die gemeinsamen lustigen Abende und sein übermitteltes umfangreiches Wissen über Kultur, Natur und Geschichte von Sri Lanka.
Wir mussten Abschied nehmen von unserem lieb gewonnenen Freund Chathura, unserem immer sicher fahrenden Fahrer und Freund Dhummi und von einem wunderschönen Land. Wir haben noch lange nicht alles gesehen…

Holiday we never forget!

We travelled around on the island with many different activities and daytours for one week in august 2019. We enjoyed not only the beauty of the country with animals, landscape and traditional life but also a perfect organised tour with an excellent guide. Special wishes were no problem at no time. The hotels were excellent and well chosen. A second week we stayed in Hikkaduwa and enjoyed the local knowledge of the guide and several very safe bus shuttles.
We hope to spend another holiday with Chatura one day!!

We highly recommend Mr. Chathura, he is 100% reliable, driving very safely, has very good english and a lot of knowledge about places, culture, buddhism and local customs. We spent wonderful time together as he is very professional and friendly at the same time. We will definitely choose his services again when we come to Sri Lanka for another trip.

Fantastische Reisebegleitung!

Wir hatten eine zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in Sri Lanka, der nicht hätte besser organisiert sein können. Von der Abholung am Flughafen bis hin zu tollen Ausflügen war alles spitzenmäßig geplant. Chathura hat ein sehr umfangreiches Wissen über die Natur, Geschichte und sein Heimatland Sri Lanka. Er ist überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und versucht dem Kunden all seine Wünsche zu ermöglichen.
Wir hätten uns keine besseren Reiseführer wünschen können. Klare Empfehlung an alle.
Noch mal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Chathura und sein Team.

The best tour guide!

My family and I went to Sri Lanka in December 2018 and didn't book anything else apart from a BB before our arrival. Due to my mum turning 60 I thought it would be a good idea to do some fun activities so I contacted Chathura.

Chathura was very friendly and helpful and put together a few days of activities based on our budget. Everyone was happy with the activities and we had the best time!

Great, trustworthy driver as well!

I highly recommend doing your tours with Chathura (He goes the extra mile for his customers), he is also friendly, smart and speaks good English. He does put a lot of effort into his tours and makes sure everyone is happy and satisfied.

We had some great days with yoga, jungle tour, whale watching and exploring Galle and finished our stay with a nice Sri Lankan buffet on the beach in Hikkaduwa.

I hope we can come back soon again and explore more of Sri Lanka!

If you haven't put Sri Lanka as your next adventure please do! This place is certainly the next big thing. I must in Sri Lanka is to have a private driver and I would highly recommend " Travel with Chathura". It was very easy to communicate with him through messenger to organise a 2 day private tour to Sigiriya, Eco Jeep Safari and Polonnarurwa from our hotel in Hikkaduwa. Our 2 day package included all the driver expenses and our entrance fees. He gave us the option to include a 1 night stay accommodation, but I decided to do this one myself. If you need a flexible tour package you will find that Chathura will be accommodating to your needs. We had such an awesome time and would definitely be back soon!

Fantastic day whale watching and more!
Chathura organasied a brilliant day whale watching for us. We were picked up right from pur accomodation and taken to the harbour where the boat was ready for us. We were fortunate enough to see to a number of blue whales and sea turtles aswell as the occasional flying fish.

Our day was so good that we decided to organise a trip to udawalawe also with Chathura. He kindly organised to take us to a tea plantation and a stunning temple on the way.

Both of our trips with Chathura were absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend him enough, he is a very friendly knowledgeable guy and his tours will really help you make the most of your time in Sri Lanka!

A well-planned and relaxing full day trip to Udawalawe. You have an interesting visit to a local, privately owned tea plantation and make it in time for the Elephant feeding before the start of the private afternoon safari. You can also modify your day to fit your schedule.

Elephant sightings guaranteed, and Chathura was a wonderful and insightful host. Highly recommended to all of your Sri Lanka tour and expertise needs!
