I went with a friend and had an amazing time, the food was fantastic and we learnt a lot. The family were also very helpful when I realised I’d been bitten by a leech on my leg and needed help to stop the bleeding- very grateful!

Very authentic cooking experience starting off with a visit at the market seeing the host in action; followed by a very educative cooking experience with our host, her sister and mother. Enjoyed it a lot!

Amazing cooking experience!

Best cooking experience I've had. It was an absolute joy to cook with these lovely ladies. We started at the market and have cooked so many delicious vegetarian meals together in their kitchen. Highly recommended and thank you for this wonderful experience 🙏😊

It was a very educational and extremely cool experience. Starting with a joint shopping trip at the local market, then cooking together with warm company and the fine food to crown. We can only recommend it warmly!!!

Great experience

Brilliant experience with Chami and family in their home. Cooked 13 delidicious dishes from scratch with a lot of help from the experts! Highly recommend this if you are staying in Kandy and have an evening to spare

A must do whilst in Sri Lanka!

What an experience!! We were welcomed into their family home and treated to an unforgettable experience cooking with them. They catered for us being vegan as well, creating a whole range of delicious dishes. Was very special to sit down after and eat this amazing food after learning so much about Sri Lankan cooking in their home. Such lovely people and a must do experience to learn about Sri Lankan life, cooking and culture first hand.

Fantastic class with a lovely family. We learned so much and had a wonderful introduction to Sri Lankan markets and cooking. I loved seeing how the old implements were used and having a go

Fantastic cooking class in Kandy

The Kandy Cooking Class is hosted by the nicest family in Sri Lanka! They were so knowledgeable and friendly. They taught us lots about the cuisine and how to make each dish. And the food was delicious! We will definitely be trying to recreate them at home. We had so much fun. If you are in Kandy this class is a must do!
