Our unforgettable snow drive kicked off on February 21st from Narkanda, and what a journey it turned out to be! Right from the start, everything was meticulously planned. Even before we reached Narkanda, we had all the necessary guidance, including arrangements for snow chains, ensuring we were well-prepared for the challenging roads ahead.
A special shoutout to Puneet and Goldie, the two pillars of this expedition. Puneet led the convoy with precision, navigating through treacherous snow-covered roads, while Goldie made sure no one was left behind, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for everyone. Their expertise and leadership made a huge difference in tackling the unpredictable Himalayan terrain.
Adding to this dream team was Shiva, the cherry on top, whose keen eye for photography and capturing special moments made the journey even more memorable. Thanks to him, we have stunning visual memories to relive this incredible experience.
The true test of this adventure came when we were stuck for three days due to heavy snowstorms and landslides. But the team went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. They found us a warm place to stay, kept our spirits high despite the challenging conditions, and the best part—Goldie made sure we were all well-fed, proving that a well-fed traveler is a happy traveler!
Despite the challenges, this trip was nothing short of extraordinary. The camaraderie, the stunning landscapes, and the sheer thrill of driving through the snow-covered Spiti Valley made it an experience of a lifetime. A massive thanks to the team for making this adventure not just about reaching the destination but truly enjoying the journey!

An amazing and a wonderful trip… these have turned out to be very basic words to explain the experience we had with Puneeth Sir, Goldie Sir and Shiva Sir… The LA Himalaya team!!!!
The management, the planning, and most important the execution was commendable …
The experience was not only limited to the Spiti Snow drive but every emotion was taken care of…
Feels blessed to be connecting nature with the LA Himalaya team…

Puneeth.. team lead / mentor .. he is just not organiser.. he is best qualified & has ability lead. It’s just not taking in route for a drive. It needs great experience & passion to engage with team & present what’s needed. Puneeth just has all that.
It’s my first drive trip .. mostly decided to do next drive trips with him.
Morning to evening drives & evening parties & engagement with team has equal importance.
He has all the qualities to lead the trip.
His connectivity with locals there is very useful in unexpected times in mountains.
I strongly suggest & recommend La Himalaya for ur Spiti experience
It’s my first drive trip .. mostly decided to do next drive trips with him.

If you’re looking for a thorough journey through some of the most remote and breathtaking destinations, Lahimalaya is the way to go! From start to finish, the team didn’t just guide us—they welcomed us as family, making every moment feel special and personal.
The trip was flawlessly planned, with hidden gems. I went for the Spiti snow drive, and every drive was an adventure, and I can confidently say I experienced some of the best drives of my life—thrilling, scenic, and perfectly curated.

An Unforgettable Adventure drive with La Himalaya!
Our La Himalaya Snow Drive trip was truly an unforgettable experience! The journey was well-planned, and the team’s professionalism ensured that we felt safe and comfortable throughout. The breathtaking snowy landscapes and thrilling routes made the drive both exciting and memorable.

Signed up with La Himalaya thinking they are very good and they turned out to be astounding!!
Me, my husband and our 7 year old have spent the unforgettable 14 days our lives from 21st Feb'25 to 5th Mar'25.
It began with a very cheerful warm evening at Narkanda on the 21st evening and kicked off to a mesmerizing journey carefully cusped between the lead and the sweep cars - Puneeth and Goldie !
We crossed through the mountains, hiked to a beautiful waterfall amidst the woods , beautiful landscapes and devoured on scrumptuous meals
The drive in the unknown terrains for us was so much fun itself and the ever Cheerful Shiva capturing these moments was icing on the cake !
The days would being with hot breaksaft , exciting dive with something new every single day and end up with warm evenings filled with laughter and delicious food hoping for another exciting day
All of you who have been with La Himalaya will agree with whatever I said so far , here is what was extraordinary!
On the last day of the expedition we got stuck in a snowstorm! So much so that there was zero visibility and we had to go back and find a safe place to stay . Puneet steered the convoy back , Goldie had our backs and Shiva even drove the car for a couple who found it challenging ! They got us to a safe place - this is the cosiest places we have ever been to , kept feeding us and ensured our comfort. The bad weather continued , the terrific trio split themselves into a team of 2 . While Shiva and Puneet looked out for the avalanches and landslides, Goldie made sure that all of us were safe and comfortable! This continued for 3 more days . Puneet was working with everyone he can to get us out . Goldie and Shiva were always there happily serving us piping hot food , taking pictures and it didn't even feel like we were stuck or stranded . It was like what my 7 year old felt "extended vacation"
4 days later we made it safely to Narkanda and couldn't believe that the expedition was over ! Though we were longing for more all good things have to come to an end . We are in love with the Himalyas , The himachalis, everything that's pahadi and Puneeth, Goldie and Shiva are like a family now .
We are ever grateful to you "La Himalaya" for everything and can't wait for our next expedition with you !
