非常棒的古桥博物馆

2022年10月21日来的。这里原本是大上海自来水的取水口，在大约十年前改建为公园了。古桥是这座公园最大的特色，这里有许多来自上海及其周边的古桥，都是因为当地填浜筑路或者修建高速公路而拆除的，移到这里保留下来了，着实功德无量。桥的样式很丰富，妥妥的古桥博物馆。虽然收藏了这么多古桥，但是整个公园的造景却不杂乱，可以拍出好照片的景观不少。这里唯一的缺点就是位置比较偏僻，自驾是最好的出行方式，公园对面就是停车场。

I went with my wife and a friend yesterday, September 25th, 2021. We took a Didi all the way there we live in Southern Pudong so this attraction was not too far from us but it still took 90 minutes to get there. There is a bus station on the main road outside the park but I would not getting there on public transport would not be easy. When it was time for us to leave it was not easy to catch a Didi, I had to use the app to find a taxi.
After passing the ticket-office there is a large space that has a huge old tree at the centre, to the right there is a long building, which contains very little but there is one small shop selling snacks, beverages and toys. To the right of that shop is the entrance to the park itself. Upon entering you are greeted with a stunning scene; a raised, stone walk-way over water with many old bridges and quaint building. It really is beautiful. As with this type of “garden” the route you take can be confusing, there is not a single path to follow, every so often there will be a crossroads or T-junction which, could lead you back to where you just came from. This can be frustrating if you do not pay attention to the choice of route but I think this also adds to the experience, the park would be busier and have less character if there was one single pathway to follow.
Behind the long open building that contains five or six, enormous decorative drums is a part of the park that is not as nice, in my opinion. This area is styled like a modern day park with lawns and some flowerbeds although there was one small area which was densely populated with some orange flowers which the butterflies were loving, so that is one reason to see the whole park.
We walked around for about 2 hours, the weather was great, more than warm but not too hot with a blue sky that really added to the beauty of the environment. Several electricity pylons, dominate the skyline, which does take away from the experience, but I managed to edit those out of some of my photos and overall it did not ruin our experience.

Beautiful HanXiang Water Expo Garden

This water expo garden was initially established by around 3000 local village residents to use as a water ecosystem garden to secure the clean drinking water source for Shanghai City. You are able to see the tranquil lakes, different types of bridges, various ancient buildings and a wide range of vegetation. It is a good place with nice views for us to visit and relax. It is a bit far from Shanghai city central. However I suggest that you will visit this lovely place off the beaten track if you are able to catch the public transport or organise your own transport to get there.
