Finding the Shelter is sometimes difficult, unless your taxi driver knows it , always ask , there is a small cover charge , but well worth it , the staff is friendly, and attentive, drink prices are reasonable, Beer is always cold and delivered quickly , over all a great place to go to relax , can get a little crowded,

在前往上海前受朋友推薦這間位在舊防空洞的酒吧，本來預期入場費用為 RMB 40，但當日好像有特別演出，所以入場費用是 RMB 80（都是不含酒券的費用）在觀光網站上看到的入場時間為 9 點，但工作夥伴告知是 10 點才可以入場，所以不太確定是不是時間有做更改。 想要前去的朋友，建議在 11 點之後抵達，有位子可以休憩，同時人潮也會慢慢聚集。 從入場的隧道裡，可以看到許多來自世界各地塗鴉者的貼紙與 tag，可以感受這裡真的是一個秘密聚會場合，吧台人員也非常友善，支援中、英文（也可能因為靜安區較多英語使用者）但有件非常非常非常！！！重要的是情就是！！！！！只能用現金結帳、不支援任何電子支付！包含信用卡！！！

Believe me you dont want to miss this club if you are in shanghai. I went there with my friend it was hard to find but we found it and im so glad cause it was amazing its like a tunnel and pretty dark. The cocktail's price was reasonable. If you are looking for frinedly place thats it you are going to experience a great night. And there is no theme so you dont have to wear special clothes there.

Have been several times in the past few months. Great stop after apartment, keep the party going until 5am. Fun and endless beats, always has a decent crowd. Hip hop night is not to be missed

A few things I can tell you about this place
1. It is definitely one of the coolest spot in Shanghai
2. Perfect setting in the shelter room, great underground bar
3. They bring a lot of subculture musicians and DJs
4. A lot of hipsters, yes!
5. It gets super packed over the weekend. You will hear more English than Chinese (and yes this pub is in China)
6. People smoke inside the bar even though there are some "no smoking" signs

With the exception of smell of wet soil, The Shelter has everything one needs for a perfect gateway to nightout with friends. The standard drinks range from 40+ RMB and normally they have entry charges on weekend. I paid 30 and 60 for the two times I visited this place, depending upon the night performance. It has a dance floor and some (not so comfortable couch) sitting arrangement. Music is really loud, and do not try it if you want to chit and chat. Must try if you are looking to shake your bootie for long. Very dark atmosphere inside and things can get really cozy at times.

Went there on Halloween... The entire place is very well done up and has oodles of character... It is an abandoned bomb shelter and that gives it a great atmosphere... The entry is prices at 50 RMB.... The bar is pretty reasonable... The music system is great with some pretty good DJs...
My only grouse is that the dance floor is almost in darkness, which can be a bit unsettling...

We went to a hip hop gig here after a slightly terrifying night at the bigger clubs in Shanghai. Fun vibe, cool music and sweet underground venue.

Обожаю Шелтэр за музыку, которая там играет. Честная экспериментальщина, которой не нужны спецэффекты в виде модного интерьера или света.

One of the few clubs in the city to offer a diverse range of dance music from local independent DJs and some of the leading international artists in hip hop, d'n'b, dubstep, reggae and techno, the beer cost in average 30rmb (5usd) and vodca, tequila and so on 50rmb (7usd)..I enjoy this place in special the music...and the are to many people from others Countries, in the same street you will find anothers good options to enjoy the Shangai nightlife
