Great place with food from all over the world and live music. Definitely recommend if you can stop by to get a taste of different cultures.

If you are looking for local digs that show the beautiful culture, ability, and expanse of Costa Rica, look no further than the night market every Thursday night in Tamarindo. Amazing jewelry, food, clothes, art, and more! All locals selling their own work. Would HIGHLY recommend checking it out!

A fun nighttime market. Most excellent and cheap food. Very fun and young vibe. Lots of energy. Great stalls. Huge selection. A very fun 2-3 hours!!

The night market is extremely busy so this is not the place if you don’t like crowds. The food was just okay and very expensive. You can find all the same vendors at the daytime market in town.

Buy the Nutella Donut for $6!! And the BBQ rib plate with Yuca, for $9. Both were worth it. We weren’t out looking for anything specific, but it was something to do for an evening walk.

So, this is a MUST do if you are in Tamarindo on a Thursday evening.
Deanne, is the Empanada Queen! First off they are Baked - and not doughy!Beef or Chicken with the perfect spices olives and a hard boiled egg - and YES I had BOTH ! If I lived here, I would beg her to adopt me! She also does amazing baked goods!! Then as u are exiting - a mom and pop “Amazing BBQ” where pop is grilling 3 day Marinaded Chicken over coals, a beautiful fresh salad and a mind blowing Guacamole which made the meal! Such tender and juicy Chicken with a dollop of their homemade Guac is Heaven!

we had a great time in tamarindo for three weeks in February. We stayed in a condo walking distance to the beach. My husband and I walk the beach every morning for five or 6 miles and we came down for beach sunsets. I also had massages on the beach. We did not spend time during the day on the beach because it was so windy. We were lucky and had a beautiful pool at our condo. It was extremely hot in the afternoon 95° every day add always sunshine.
The night market was fun on Thursday nights. Lots of great restaurants in Tamarindo loved Pangus Beach Club, Dragonfly and L' Estanco El Jardin Escondido exceptionally good restaurants.. but you do need a reservation.
We love Tamarindo for a one time visit and enjoyed our three weeks there. A little more busy than we wanted for future visits but perfect for us and family visiting.

Très joli petit marché où vous pouvez trouver de tout, cocktail, nourriture bijoux, vêtements et autres souvenirs. Le gros hic est le prix souvent non affiché et qui est exorbitant si vous avez de quoi dépenser foncez vous trouverez sûrement votre bonheur
