Danny and Gerardo were great. They were both on time and got me to my destinations with great care. Also, they were both very friendly and taught me a lot about Costa Rica’s culture.

We highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a reliable driver in CR! Not only is he very knowledgeable and an excellent guide, he is also very personable and friendly. Driving in certain areas of CR isn’t as easy as it seems and he made our experience so enjoyable! Thank you for the excellent service and we hope to see you soon!:)

We had an amazing experience with Danny. He is a first class driver and administrator.
We contacted Danny through his website a few months before our two week holiday to Costa Rica with our 2 year old son.
Danny was immensely helpful in planning our trip. We chatted a lot on WhatsApp in the months before we travelled. He speaks and writes english very well. This included recommendations for our itinerary and Danny arranging and purchasing a car seat specifically for our son.
His car was exactly what we wanted for our trip. Safe, comfortable, good air conditioning and excellent luggage capacity.
Danny is very responsive on WhatsApp, including during our nightmare flights. He very kindly changed plans for our initial journey from San Jose to La Fortuna due to our very delayed connection which resulted in him waiting at the airport for hours and driving us for 4 hours very late at night. He did so without any grumble at all which we were so grateful for after our flight delays.
Danny has been doing his job for over 23 years and is very knowledgable about Costa Rica as a country, its culture and recommendations for the towns we were visiting. The best food we ate was at restaurants Danny told us about or that he stopped at with us on our journeys.
We cant recommend him highly enough.

Danny provided an outstanding service for the three leg journey we took in Costa Rica, from Alajuela to La Fortuna via La Paz Waterfalls, then from La Fortuna to Monteverde, and finally back to Alajuela. Our driver Carlos was exceptional and always arrived before the time we were due to depart. We enjoyed practicing our various levels of Spanish skills with Carlos, but when we had difficulty he was able to help us out in English!
When our daughter and family were delayed in New York and we were wondering if they would get in in time for the next day's departure, I spoke to Danny and he had a contingency plan to get them to La Fortuna ready! Luckily, they got in late that night. If you want to be assured of convenient comfortable travel with great service then Danny is your man!

Danny , thanks for everything ! Gerardo was fantastic. We all had a great visit and all agreed that it was the best decision to use a driver car service. Had the most incredible experience in Costa Rica and a huge part of that was our private driver- Mr. Danny! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to everything Costa Rica. He has over 20 years of driving experience and tour guide. We felt safe and comfortable. He speaks great conversational English. He was always on time, in fact early. He is great at communicating and his price is adorable. He was our personal driver the whole time. He drove from airport to hotel, San Jose to Jaco, Jaco to
La Fortuna, and back to SJ airport. The drive

We had Danny Jimenez as our driver for 9 days. He was amazing. He was always before time and not once we felt at any rush. His recommendations were excellent. Not only did he teach us Spanish, he was always with us helping translate when talking to the locals. Explained the history, which is his passion en route. Would highly recommend to my best friends and may plan to return to Costa Rica again to let us drive around.

We had an amazing family trip with our adult children. We had 9 days to explore three areas of Costa Rica. Danny helped me plan the trip via WhatsApp, he was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly, offering valuable advice to make the most of our time. Danny has decades of driving experience, knowing the best places to explore nature or to enjoy some local cuisine. We always felt safe and comfortable in his van and he was always very punctual and accommodating. He gave us a lot of insight about the places we visited and Costa Rica in general. We truly fell in love with this beautiful country. And Danny Jimenez was a big part of what made our travel experience that much more enjoyable!

Danny was an excellent driver! We hired him to drive us from San José airport to our hotel in Quepos and he arrived promptly and was very communicative. He also stopped at a couple places along the way for us to see the sights and grab an excellent traditional Costa Rican lunch as well as provided excellent conversation and a Costa Rican history lesson which made it a much more enjoyable experience than a regular drive. He is extremely personable & made the long drive an easy one- I can’t recommend anyone more than Danny for your driving needs in Costa Rica! Booking through his WhatsApp was very easy & he responded promptly. +50688545969 is his WhatsApp number!

Hi. Sorry we didn't go this route. We hired Jody to take us on a shopping trip. Along the way he gave us a great tour of Gunnecaste. We saw refugee camps, the town and had supper at a local restaurant with him. We had booked Jody for 2 hours, but because he got tied up and was late picking us up he gave us an extra hour tour. If I remember he charged us $40 or $50. It was well worth it. Would not hesitate to recommend Jody. He truly was great. Hope this helps.

I think it was $160 for three of us. We stopped to see the crocodiles in a river.... could have stopped more if we'd asked. We had confusion about our accommodations (my fault) so our driver took us to another hotel and helped us get situated... a better location than what I'd booked initially. It was worth every penny to not have to drive ourselves and to have someone who could help out when things went wrong.

Hi i will be visiting CR in July with another buddy. We have 4 days to 5 days. Arrive Monday and leave Friday. We would love to visit Arenal, explore some rainforests, ATV, explore Jaco, maybe do some Scuba near Jaco. Can i guys assist ? We would need transportations to/from airport as well.
