Walter’s a gem!

After a long flight, I arrived at San Jose, and Walter was there to greet me. The van was comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. Walter offered me a bottle of water, and we were on our way to Jaco. The driving was excellent and after arriving, Walter insisted upon taking my bags right to the front door of my condo. I highly recommend this transport.

Exceptional transportation experience

We used Didier’s service to transport 3 of my children (early 20’s) from San Jose airport to meet us in Puerto Jimenez in December. The driver was prompt, friendly, and happy to stop to show them things along the way, get food etc. the communication leading up to the transport was exceptional and the price was very reasonable. When we return to Costa Rica this December I will absolutely be using his services again. Highly recommend!!

Agradecidos de PR a Costa Rica al servicio de transportación terrestre de Didier. Desde el primer correo electrónico enviado para información del servicio hasta el último día de llevarnos de regreso al aeropuerto. Gracias Didier por el seguimiento y el estar pendiente. A nuestra chofer Francini, por su amabilidad, simpatía, conocedora de su país, y su profesionalismo en el servicio brindado.

Best car service in Costa Rica

My husband and I have used Didier’s car service for both of our trips to Costa Rica. The first one in September of last year and again this January. Both times we were met with absolutely excellent service from Miguel, Hugo and Didier himself. Didier and his team are super friendly, knowledgeable, and are super passionate about their country and showing it’s overflowing beauty to tourists.

All trips went super smoothly. The vans are super clean, they were all on time and are happy to stop for food/bathroom breaks and animal spottings.

We will be contacting Didier every time we come to Costa Rica and if you want a safe/ friendly/ reliable / good value transport service you should do the same.

Excellent car service

Didiers service was excellent, he was very responsive to questions and communications, he was punctual and easy to work with. The automobiles are clean and spacious. Didier was recommended to me by a friend who had used his service in the past and I would recommend him 100 times over. He was friendly and made the long drives great! If you’re looking for reliable, dependable car service in Costa Rica, he is def the way to go!

Didier y su equipo son mucho más que choferes. Totalmente profesionales pero sobretodo simpáticos. Hicimos 4 servicios con ellos y en cada uno nos sorprendieron con su amabilidad. Didier nos recogió del aeropuerto y en 10 minutos nos dio un master class de Costa Rica. Franciny nos llevo a Monteverde. Es adorable. Se preocupó de traer una bolsa de dulces para los niños e incluso paró por el camino porque no sabíamos que eran "pipas" (cocos para beber) y nos invitó a pipas para todos. Mi hija no hablaba de otra persona en todo el viaje. Julio nos llevó a Manuel Antonio. Paró para enseñarnos cocodrilos y paraguayas. No les importa su tiempo, les importa que disfrutes de su país. No pensaría dos veces en recomendar esta empresa. Furgonetas limpias, cómodas y super puntuales. No puede haber mejor servicio en Costa Rica.

The perfect guide to Costa Rica... Thank. you, Didier!

We connected with Didier Flores Nunez through a travel arrangement with Camino Travel. We are so happy that Didier was the person who was driving us around Costa Rica. In general, I don't think I have ever had such kind, courteous, and professional service of this kind. I can't say enough about how much Didier made our experience in Costa Rica go so well.

Here are some details:

1. Didier was the person who handled all of our "transitions" around the various places we went in Costa Rica. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the end of the trip and did all the trips in between. He was always on time... Always! In fact, he was often early to make sure he got there in time. This is no small feat when moving through San Jose...

2. He also took us through the La Paz waterfalls and was an excellent guide making sure that we saw everything and got the full experience.

3. On the long journeys, he really took care to make sure that we were physically safe and comfortable. He made sure that we stopped at a particular restaurant in our journeys known for clean bathrooms and safe parking (and the largest souvenir shop I've ever seen). El Jardin is a must see.

As a same-sex couple, we often wonder how well we will interact when we travel, and Didier was kind, professionally and very engaging. I can think of no one else I would rather have as my true guide to Costa Rica than Didier. If you want to see Costa Rica and have a super experience, I would HIGHLY recommend Didier as the person to make that happen. You absolutely will be glad you did.

Working with Didier, was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we arrived and he picked us up, till we departed CR. During the long drives Didier enlightened us with lots of information about CR, their culture and we didn’t realize where the time went. We first arrived in San Jose, drove to Arenal Volcano. Then after a few days he picked us up and drove us to Guanacaste beach resort. He was very punctual and is dependable. We would highly recommend him to our family and friends who need a minivan taxi service.

Best driver ever!! Don't think twice!

This is a long overdue review, but one I feel I owe to Didier. I had one of my all-time favorite vacations when I visited Costa Rica for ten days in May, and Didier was a huge reason why. I heard about Didier from my friends Pablo and Rina and I am so glad that I chose to go with a driver instead of renting a car.

Didier was very professional and responded immediately to all of my emails before the trip and WhatsApp messages while in CR. He offered better rates than the large shuttle companies and even suggested that we go with another boat-jeep-boat company instead of him to travel from Arenal to Monteverde for a more enjoyable and cheaper experience.

He was super friendly and easy to talk to, was a very safe and smooth driver, and always showed up early, even when he had to take us from Manuel Antonio at 3:30 am to San Jose airport to catch an 8:00 am flight home. He was also super helpful and showed us some new places:

- Mi Rancho: first meal in CR, restaurant looked touristy, but was the best gallo pinto of many during the trip
- Brought us to pick up Kolbi prepaid SIM card, cell service was very reliable
- El Jardin: HUGE souvenir shop, Didier watched us shop for an hour
- Soda el Tucan: where locals eat, cheap and yet one of my best meals I had

Traveling with Didier felt like I had my own private personal tour guide and took away all the stress of traveling several hours between cities in a foreign country that had windy unpaved roads. By the end of the trip, I felt like I made a great friend in Didier. Thanks so much Didier for everything, I’m so glad I got to meet you!

Absolutely amazing service - our driver Didier was so welcoming, informative and helpful. He taught us some lingo and was very flexible in terms of arranging time and place of pick up. He even gave us a minor detour to check out some local wildlife!

Would absolutely use the service again anytime!
