I surfed with Rudi and team for 4 days in December. As a beginner, was looking for a quieter spot than Canggu and Baruna provided everything I needed. Really nice coaches, uncrowded surf spot (Kedungu), good equipment, reliable and consistent service, picked me up every morning and messaged me every afternoon with next day plans. Even organised a trip to the east (Sanur) on the fourth day when conditions in Kedungu were less than ideal. I was staying with family who didn’t want to surf so this was the perfect package, with access to coaches and equipment from the surf camp (Seaside Tribe) whilst staying in private accommodation with my family outside of the camp. Would not hesitate to recommend and will surf with them again next time I stay in the area. Thanks a million Rudi and team.

Really skilled and super nice - we all really enjoyed our surfing and learned a lot!
Rudi and Adi are stars and choose really nice spots, they also do really helpful video analysis which makes a huge difference!

If you want to learn how to surf with a lot of fun and love the Baruna family as especially Rudi is perfect for you. Rudi is focussed on every student and pushes you to the next level without losing his sense of humour. His ability to find your inner balance is awesome and motivates you step by step. Without him I would have never been surfing on a so called „green wave“! No doubt, there is no better place to learn how to surf on Bali so what are you waiting for! Just do it! 🌊🏄🏽♀️

Great equipment, transportation and organization. I loved my board! the team is super professional and flexible when it comes to the students. It’s cool that we could watch the video of our surfing after the session. I would try group classes here if I came back to Canggu!

Loved loved loved learning to surf here! Rudi and all the instructors are so knowledgeable and they care about helping you to progress - and have fun while doing it. Totally recommend it - thank you!

We, a couple in the Early/mid 20s, were here for 3 Days in a row with transport from Canggu. The staff consists of lovely and competent people, whom are ready to teach you surfing!
They keep track of each individual's progress and assure that you don't encounter too hard or easy challenges.
After the surfing session, they go through the videos taken throughout the trip, analyse Them with you and give advice. This is both very cozy and helpful.
As the waves and weather are hard to predict, you Will get to know when and where you Will be surfing the Day before.
All in All, this was a great experience, which easily deserves 5 stars!

i had the best time surfing with rudi, we had such fun in the water, always good moods, i really felt safe, great tips and just overall so helpful! i improved my surfing skills so much more than i thought i would and had so much fun while doing so!

Very nice experience ! All the crew was very nice, they put safety and enjoyment first, they are very supportive and make you feel progress each sessions. Thanks to video recording during the session, you can debrief and analyse your mistakes to correct them for the next time.

We had a great time surfing with Rudy. I had only tried surfing once before this but was able to quickly pick up the skills and improve heaps over just 3 days. They did a great job of ensuring we were confident and in control but challenging us just the right amount to progress. We also stayed at their accomodation in Kedungu (Seaside Tribe) highly recommend, one of the best places we have stayed at in Bali.

Great surf experience with friendly and helpful teachers. Always felt safe and looked after in the water with a fantastic 2 to 1 student to teacher ratio. We improved so much in 3 days, and had our limits pushed at the right pace to improve quickly while still feeling confident enough. I started without much surfing experience, but after this I already can't wait to go surfing again. Great fun, thank you so much!

Hi, pick-up time depends on the swell, tide and weather condition and will vary between 6:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m, trip duration is about 4 hours.

Hi there,
we do have the HAPPY BEGINNER surf package which would suit your level & where you learn the basics. Our surf trips take about 3-5 hours, depending a bit where you stay and where we surf. The surf lesson in the water is about 2 hours and you will get theory instructions on the beach first. It's up to you if you choose our "standard" package where we offer 2:1 sessions or if you would like 1:1 sessions. Please get in touch with us via email, then we can give you an exact offer. Hi Nele, thanks for your question. A 3-days HAPPY BEGINNER surf package costs Rp. 1,65 Mio. and includes three surfing lessons of approx. 2 hours, surfboard rental & transportation (from Canggu to the spot and back). As well for this package you will get a free photo session (incl. pictures). The spot we do choose on your ability & daily condition.
