My two brothers and I had a great experience surfing with Ketut. Him and his friend D are extremely professional and know the waters for the best possible surfing at your level. They were able to accommodate the difference in surfing experience of me and my brothers and helped us improve a lot. Very cool to have two teachers for three people, and always felt very safe. Great guys!

We booked Ketut for a private surf session this summer and found it a very nice experience. He picked us up in Canggu and on the beach we me with his friend "D" who was also participating as a teacher which came to our surprise. We really enjoyed the tips they gave us and we managed to stay on the board within short time. They both are very experienced teachers. We can only reccomend to do your surf lessons with Ketut!

We went surfing twice with Ketut. It was our first time surfing, he was recommended to us and indeed we had a great time. Ketut planed the exact location at the beach according to waves and tide (so water conditions would be suitable for us) - first time in the afternoon, second time at sunrise (which was amazing). Before we actually went into the water we got a training on the beach to learn some theorie and how to move on the board properly. Ketut was well prepared, arrived with a car with training boards and gear for us (we recommend a long shirt & pants, a towel and don't forget the waterproof sunscreen) In the water he and his friend/assistant were around us all the time, so we felt save and taken care of. We payed for 2 hours but didn't stay that long in the water as it was very exhausting. Afterwards we went to a shower on the beach, which was included in the price. If you have the time opt for more than one lesson but give yourself some time in between (2-3 days). Also, good water conditions are vital so let Ketut decide the location and when will be the best time for you.

Friendly and excellent instructor (Ketut) who was able to explain the basics well on land, before we went into the sea.
He also brought with him another buddy, who supervised my friend who has surfed before, while Ketut supervised me, knowing that I'm a newbie. So it was like having a private instructor - for a great price - which was awesome!
Total of 2 hours of lesson, and i managed to catch some waves after 20 minutes of falling off. 😅

I had read great reviews of Ketut and therefore, I contacted him via Whatsapp in order to book a couple of private lessons during my holiday.
Communication with Ketut was very smooth from booking to actual lessons. The price included all the necessary equipment and pick-up/drop-off from the accommodation.
As I had never surfed before, I had a thorough introduction to surfing on dry land before moving into the water. Thanks to Ketut's good guidance, I actually managed to catch a wave on my first go.
Had such a great two lessons with Ketut, who gave me great tips on how to improve my technique and how to be safe when surfing. Thanks to him I actually had courage to rent a board and head out to waves on my own after the lessons.
I would highly recommend Ketut if you want to learn how to surf.

My friend and I both beginners have been taking lessons with Ketut and we were really happy.
We contacted him only one day before and he was really reactive. The lesson in itself are really good. He explains well how to surf and especially for beginners, he really decomposes every steps to make it easier.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend Ketut classes for total beginners like us :)

Just had a lesson with Katut. He was on time, even though we pushed it out to 7am - picked us up from our villa had us ready to go out in no time at all. Spent a solid couple of hours out on the ocean and he couldn't have been more accommodating to how crap we were.
He persevered with us and both me and my mate were able to get up. Multiple times. Having surfed almost never this was not an easy feat... Ketut knows his stuff and he's a really nice dude. Get in now! Would definitely go again.

It was my second time taking surf classes. Previously I did a 5 days group course. This time I was 100% that I want to take private lessons as I plan to surf one my own in the near future and should say it was a right decision!
Ketut was very friendly and really good in providing detailed instructions. He was always paddling next to me and was deeply interested in my progress. Everyday he picked me up at 6am before the crowds arrived to Batu Bolong Beach/Canggu what gave me a better chance to learn. As mentioned by some people before safety was always a priority. On the second day I was able to switch the softboard to 8'6 longboard and on the third day I started to catch some green waves. Ketut is a great teacher and would not hesitate to recommend him! Very good value for money!

Great experience, I agree with the professional and enjoyable attitude of Ketut. He also invited a friend of his to support our first surfing lesson. I look back on the lesson and his personal shuttle service to/from Canggu to the quiet waters of Jimbaran as very learnful (both surfing and local culture) and adventurous. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time learning to surf with Ketut. We hit the beach early to catch the best water conditions for my surf level and he was really good in providing detailed instructions. I was able to get up and ride the waves and this was my first time surfing! Thank you Ketut for the great lesson. At 44, I have crossed an item off my bucket list!

Dobrý den, mohla bych Vás poprosit o kontakt na lekce surfování? Budeme tam s přítelem v září a měli bychom zájem o lekci surfování pro začátečníky na Canggu beach. Jak dlouho lekce trvá a kolik stojí prosím?
