If you looking for a surf guide for a trip to Bali look no futher then Surf Melali. I was lucky enough to have Angga as a guide during my stay and he was a superb coach and I couldn't of wished for more.
He took me to the various surf spots local to the villa I was staying at and was always in touch if conditions were changing and let me know what time he was due to come and pick me up each morning.
Angga took my surfing to a whole new level during my time with him. He was always paying close attention to how I was surfing and was always giving tips / advice on how I could improve my technique. Now I'm surfing way more consistently then before and enjoying the sport more!
To top it all off Angga was a great guy to hang out with, always having a laugh with him whilst we surfed. So thank you Angga and I look forward to surfing with you again in the not to distant future!

Angga - Surf Melali is fantastic private surfguiding. I go already with Angga many times before and in June and Oktober. 17. I very recommend Surf melali with Angga as a teacher.
Angga come always on time for pick up and take to special private spits on Bali. Angga always super friendly, always happy and give many special attention for you for improve surf.
When surf not good he can find to do many fun thing together. He a funny guy, if you lucky you maybe can party with Angga. He special guy small but spicy... Thanks Angga for we have us such good times together.

I surfed with Surf Melali for about a week. The guiding was very professional and well organised. Angga provided very good feedback and I could improve my surfing a lot. They take their job very serious but never forget the fun in surfing. I will definitely be back and surf again with Surf Melali!

We booked 3 morning sessions with Angga as complete beginners and had an absolute blast. Regarding logistics, pick up and drop off at our hotel were included and always on time. Angga is a super patient and good teacher. By the second day already, we both managed to catch most of the waves. He gives a lot of detailed, individual feedback which helped a ton. On top, he sent us awesome gopro footage every evening. All in all, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a surf school.

Obwohl wir eine ziemlich durchmischte Gruppe waren, gelang es Angga und Pande auf jede Person einzeln einzugehen. So schafften sie es auch, dass am Ende der Woche alle ihre Surf skills verbessern konnten.
Man merkt wirklich, dass Angga mit den Wellen aufgewachsen ist. Er kennt das Meer wie kein anderer. Dies und seine beruhigende Art halfen mir sehr an meiner Angst vor ,,grossen'' Wellen zu arbeiten. Ich fühlte mich bei ihm in besten Händen und konnte ihm im Wasser blind vertrauen.
Angga und Pande sind nicht nur als Surf guides top sondern auch ausserhalb des Wassers extrem herzlich und humorvoll.

I surfed several times with Aanga/Melali Surf. Aanga is very experienced and responsible, he helps you to improve your surfing effectively. He always finds the best spot for the day and your level. And beside working on your skills you will have a lot of fun! Highly recommended!

Wir haben einen 3 Tageskurs mit Angga gebucht. Obwohl unsere Surfskills sehr unterschiedlich waren, ist keiner bei den Surfstunden zu kurz gekommen.
Wir waren je nach Bedürfnissen und Bedingungen an unterschiedlichen Spots und hatten sowohl auf dem Wasser als auch am Land jede menge Spaß. Man merkt dabei, dass Angga nicht irgendein kosteneffizientes Minimalprogramm abspult, sondern dass er mit Herz und Seele bei der Sache ist. Nebenbei gibt Angga auch viele tipps rund um Land und Leute. Es ist ein bisschen so, als wenn man mit einem kumpel unterwegs ist, der einem das surfen beibringt, sich um alles kümmert und einen für den ersten gelungenen wellenritt gehörig abfeiert. Weltklasse, jederzeit wieder!

I very recommend Surfmelali with Angga as a teacher. I took some lessons and I made big progress in a few days! Angga always told me exactly on what I have to focus and gave me very helpful advises. In addition he took very nice pictures ;-)

Every time we surf with Surf Melali, I feel I progress a little more. It's because of Angga's guidance and knowledge for surfing, that I have been able to improve to a level of surfing I am stoked with!
Angga knows exactly where to go with forecasts, and waves for your ability. We always have loads of fun in the water with Angga, and feel safe he is looking out for us.
This is the 3rd year we have been with Surf Melali. We absolutely love what they have done for our surfing ability, and the experiences we have shared in Bali. Hopefully see you again very soon! Xx
