This is an.amazing part of a trail walk. Depending on how much you would like to walk, you can start from wherever, ours was from Mentioned Beach to Sandringham
And like many spots on this route, this one was equally beautiful. Regretting why we did not bring our picnic basket.

Start at the Beaumaris Community Center (where there is parking) and then go via Banksia Preserve and to Tramway Parade and on to the Morsey Gardens, along the coast and then back via the Beaumaris Shopping precinct. Take a small deivergence and take in Rickitts Point as well. A pleaseatn walk with some good views when you get to Port Phillip Bay.

A lovely walk, which takes in the views of water, beach and nature from the coastal path. It’s well sheltered so it’s cool on hot days or windy days. Good walk to be one with nature. Easy and interesting.

while having my car fixed nearby I had a few spare hours so I completed this walk. the highlight of walk is walking along the coastline towards mentone and reading the info plaques.

I regularly walk my dog from Mentone beach to Ricketts Point and back, taking in the beach, some pathway and the coastal path - which has been delightfully maintained and upgraded in recent years.
It's fairly well sheltered so even on cold, wet and windy days you don't feel too exposed and on sunny days the views are fabulous. Over the years I've also seen an array of local wildlife - echidnas, possums, pelicans, foxes, rats (!), blue tongued lizards, cockatoos and galahs. I'm told that there are a few tiger snakes around so be mindful if you have a dog with you - not that I've seen any.
As the area was popular as an artist colony many moons ago there are several signs and plaques providing some information about the area and it's history.
