Lovely little garden with a surprising diversity of plants/trees/cacti. (Dirt) walking paths, lots of sitting areas, and a selection of plants and cacti to buy for a nominal price. Minimal shade, so wear a hat and/or slather on the sunscreen.

The Desert Meadows Park is well worth a visit. It's well planned, with tons of areas to sit. There are areas with drawers of board games to play, while other seating areas have tables for picnics and for Zen reflection.
Residents can rent raised planting beds for veggies and some planting beds are used to raise veggies for donations to food banks. All in all, it's a fantastic idea and we highly recommend a visit.

Peaceful, well-maintained local plants and whimsical decor with winding paths and many places to sit and meditate or bird watch. Meet with friends or have a picnic in a gazebo, or continue a hike along the connecting Anza trail. The volunteers do a remarkable job of not only maintaining it, but are continually improving it as well.

Super cute park sponsored by the Green Valley Gardeners. Well maintained and family friendly area. There’s lots of information throughout the park such as name labels for all the plants, solitary bee habitat and kiosk, member garden, and little library.
Family friendly with lots of sitting areas and picnic area. A memorial wall for pets. Hand washing stations and water fountains. There’s a self serve plant and art sale.
Highly recommend visiting when you are in the area.

We were amazed by this gem of a park in Green Valley. The Master Gardeners have done a fantastic job. So many interesting plants, places to sit and relax, paths to follow. You can find all sorts of wildlife here and a great little corner that sells plants and other useful items. We try to visit hear a couple of times a week.

Just a fun place to wander, watch birds, walk a labyrinth and enjoy nature. The volunteers have poured in many hours of love and labor to make this eclectic park. It is connected to a historic walking trail for those wishing to bike or walk.

This is an all volunteer effort of the Green Valley Gardeners. Go there at any season to see what is in bloom. You won't be disappointed.

The Green Valley gardening club designed and maintains this four-acre park with great dedication and skill. Each cactus, succulent, tree, and shrub is identified. Gravel and flagstone walkways meander around the community garden area, a pet and human memorial, stands of trees and cacti, statuary and sculptures, and the most inviting seating areas imaginable. Dogs are welcomed with self-filling drinking bowls attached to water fountains dotted throughout the park. Visitors can walk leisurely on intertwining walkways or access the Anza Trail for longer hikes, or simply relax in Adirondack chairs, swings, patio furniture, and colorful benches. The park's popularity among locals just adds to the ambience, as small groups gather in the scattered gazebos and seating areas. Expect to see quail, cardinals, roadrunners, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other desert fauna, along with many smiles from other visitors enjoying this Green Valley gem.
