I was enquiring about traveling and safaris and Ingrid was so incredibly helpful without wanting anything in return. This left me almost speechless how kind one can be just like this. Thank you very much for all your great advice and effort this is highly appreciated!

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 week trip to the Middle East, India and Africa. We had numerous fantastic adventures but we both agree that the very best part of our journey was a 5 days safari to the Kruger Park with Ingrid Glossop.
Ingrid is a wonderful guide. Not only is she very knowledgeable about South Africa's fauna, she is a wonderful person. Our safari was very well organized. From pickup to lodging, meals and equipment every had been thoughtfully planned.
Ingrid knows the parks, the wildlife and flora. During our 5 days we have seen countless elephants, giraffes, hippos, cape buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, lions, hyenas and dozens of species of birds.
If you have the time, we highly recommend a trip to the Kruger with Ingrid. If not, I am sure that a day trip to Pilanesberg will be an incredible experience.

Uitstekende en aangename gids. Boek minstens 1 nacht in Pilanesberg. De natuur is zeer mooi en Ingrid is een perfecte organisator

Very knowledgeable about the animals and area! Ingrid organized a fantastic weekend trip in Pilanesburg for us. She arranged rooms, meals, and excursions, all we had to do was show up. We had up close experiences with elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos and saw a male lion and lots of birds. She had comfortable accommodations with food and drink so we could spend all day in the bush. We had a fantastic trip, Ingrid made it easy and most enjoyable.

Ingrid was fantastic!! She worked with us to create an amazing and unforgettable experience. She is extremely knowledgeable, flexible and fun to be with. We spent 3 days and 2 nights exploring the park.

We absolutely adore Ingrid! This was our second trip with her and she is just fantastic. Her communication throughout is great and she is so kind. She took care of all of our group's needs and was incredibly accommodating. Her tour has been a highlight for us two-years running. She provides a history lesson to-and-from Pilanesberg, and coordinates a delicious lunch and open game drive tour. I highly recommend Ingrid's Safaris!

The most amazing experience with Ingrids safari's at Pilanesberg national park. She is the best! Everything was so well arranged and she knows everything about the animals and de vegetation at Pilanesberg. She is so sweet and let us take all the time we needed to take photographs (I was still super excited about zebra's and impala's after 3 days). I would highly recommend going with Ingrid. We only had 3 days, but it felt like a month of experiences. If you go, go with ingrid!

Ingrid was so friendly and knowledgeable! We had an amazing time at Pilanesberg National Park. Ingrid arranged for an open game vehicle to take us on a 3-hour tour, supplied a light breakfast with coffees and teas, and took us for a delicious lunch. She is a phenomenal guide and hostess!

Super safari avec Ingrid, une vraie passionnée, elle nous a même trouvé un ami francophone pour nous faire passer une journée manifique et qui s'est chargé de la traduction. Notre fils a été choyé, nous avons vu beaucoup d'animaux sauf les lions. Un seul regret ne pas avoir reçu les photos qu'elle a pu faire de notre famille lors de cette journée.

I would highly recommend a trip with Ingrid!
Our trip with Ingrid was perfect. A group of 4 friends were visiting South Africa for a wedding and travelling with a rather compressed itinerary. We decided to arrange a 2-Day & 1-Night trip to Pillansberg National Park due to it's proximity to Johannesburg. Ingrid was amazing to work with - she has incredibly quick email response time and right from our initial contact, she instilled confidence in me that she was the right choice!
Ingrid is so knowledgeable about the animals, the national park, and the country as a whole, and her passion for wildlife and her country truly shines through.
On the first day, Ingrid picked us up from the airport, took us to the reserve where we settled in, enjoyed lunch on the terrace at the lodge, and joined the lodge's afternoon game drive. As it is a national park and the animals are free to roam wild, there's never a guarantee for which animals you'll see - but that's part of the excitement and wonder when you do cross paths with the animals. Just before sunset, we encountered four rhinos that were casually grazing by the side of the road - about 5 metres away from the vehicle - and we just stopped for a good 15 minutes to marvel (and take photos!). Absolutely incredible experience.
We opted to pay for a second sunrise game drive with the lodge the second day (Ingrid was happy to drive us around independently as an alternative). - and we were thrilled with our decision. We saw a few female lions following the trail of two wildebeest; had a close encounter with the infamous Amarula, one of the park's largest bull elephants; and saw a cheetah relaxing with her two cubs. After breakfast, before our departure from the park, Ingrid took us on another drive and we continued to spot more animals.
We also happened to be there on a Wednesday when the lodge hosts a braai (South African version of a BBQ) for dinner in the national park. There's a local group of students that performed choreographed traditional dances during the meal and we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine next to the large campfire. Would definitely recommend attending if it works with your schedule.
Ingrid is so thoughtful and truly took care of everything - from bringing us apples and beverages for the car ride from the airport to National Park, to arriving early to save us seats in the lodge game drive vehicle, to providing binoculars so we could spot animals in the distance, to her patiently waiting as we took our thousandth photo of the same zebra - we were left with the perfect stress-free trip!
