Our excellent guide, Bhakefa, gave us an outstanding tour of the panoramic route. It was a misty/cloudy day and he took the time to give us the best possible tour and still had the opportunity to visit every site of the mountain range and rivers. Gorgeous day with the best guide!

Daytime safari through Kruger National Park with the best guide, Bhekifa, at Elephant Herds Safari. He spent so much time taking us through what seemed like every road in Kruger determined to see the “Big Five”. Of that list, we saw Lions, Leopard, Elephants, Buffalo and “Big Ugly Five” Wildabeast, Warthog, Hyenna, and Vulture!
Outside of the amazing safari, Bhitekifa spent time showing us his village and giving us a piece of cultural history from his past and how much growth he has experienced in his lifetime. He is full of love and compassion and knowledge of his home village and the animals he grew up with.

I did 4 days in Kruger with Trevor from Elephant Herd, he was professional, punctual, very knowledgeable and good fun. He listened to what I would like to do / see and tried his absolute best every day (obviously nothing is guaranteed with wild animals), he knows the area so well and made each day different. I will never ever forget Trevor finding the Wild Dogs within 25 mins of my first day with him, they were top of my list. I thought the next day could not possibly get any better but then he found Wild Dog puppies (different pack). I highly recommend this company, (I also used them for airport transfers and evening trip out to Sabie Sands). Will use again without a doubt.

We used Elephant Herd for Airport transfers and other transfers and they were stellar. Always punctual, professional and their guides were SUPER. We met with Remember and Trevor and they were both great! Definitely recommend Elephant Herd for anyone looking for a one stop shop for all services related with transfers and safaris in Kruger and Hazyview.

Unsere beiden Ganztages-Safaris mit Bhekifa waren ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis. Von Anfang bis Ende hatten wir das Gefühl, dass er genau weiß was er tut. Dank seines geschulten Blickes, die langjährige Erfahrung und seines Fachwissens über den Park und die Tierwelt, konnten wir die Big 5 und weitere große und kleine Lebenwesen entdecken. Nochmal vielen Dank für diese wunderschönen Safaris !

We used Elephant Herd into Skukuza for a transfer with two stops, the Ropes Course in Hazyview and the Panic Lake Bird Hide. Our driver Respect was great!

Bhekifa was an amazing driver, tour guide, and person. He not only showed us the beautiful Panorama Route safely, but also gave us a true local's perspective on the land and the people. It made our tour and trip complete. Request Bhekifa as your guide! You won't go wrong.

We komen nu voor 5e maal sinds 1999 hier. Driemaal zelf park gedaan , en eenmaal 3 overnachtingen in Sabie Sabie, nu bij Elefant Herd Safari. We weten dat hoe goed de rangers ook zijn , je soms niets ziet. Bijvoorbeeld alleen paar olifanten , en verder geen andere van Big Five lijst. Natuurlijk wel zebra’s etc. Vandaag hadden we Behkyfa als gids , we waren met 2 auto’s, andere gids ook goed. We hebben gezien > 100 olifanten, veel buffels, zeer actieve leeuwen, 2 rhino’s, en een Leopard gedurende 15 minuten op 20 meter. Voor letterlijk hetzelfde geld hadden we ook pech kunnen hebben. Maar onze gidsen waren zeer goed, zeer balanced, zeer onderhoudend, alleen daarom al een aanrader. Kortom een aanrader, we hopen nog eens van hun diensten gebruik te maken . Succes daar !!!

Hi there. We do offer a complimentary pick-up and drop off service for all safaris and Panorama tours booked with ourselves. The service is from all Hazyview based accommodation venues based within a 15km radius of Hazyview.
Hello there, we are interested to take the Panorama route tour on 11th March, however we have a flight at 18:25 in Nelspruit airport. I guess the tour finishes at 4:30pm at Hazyview, which means we will have enough time to go to airport and checkin?

We can arrange to take you directly to the airport from the Panorama Route, at an additional cost of R800.00, in order to ensure that you arrive in good time for your flight. Alternatively, we can drop you off at your place of accommodation slightly earlier, approximately 15h30.

strange that your jeep is one of the fiew i saw all around without the "tracker seat (and man)"
how is possibile to "catch in" the "games" without it?!

Glad that clairfied it.
That said, the tracker seat does make sightings easier on dirt roads where there is little or no traffic as they can follow tracks left behind by the animals. The Kruger Park carries too much traffic for a tracker to be effective, but our guides also know how the listen to the bush and read the animal behaviour making up for the loss of the tracker.
