Esperienza assolutamente da provare... Moosa e gli altri ragazzi sono stati veramente conviventi... L'ingresso è di circa 15 euro a persona! Abbiamo preso atto della cultura Zulu e sono stati cosí gentili da "risposarci" in versione Zulù😅

A great insight to the old zulu culture. The guide knew a lot and answered to all our quastions. We were only two people but they made a great tour for us. A great experience, that we will highly recommend.

Demandez conseil à votre guest house car il existe plusieurs types de visites culturelles. La notre ne s’est pas cantonnée au village type reconstitué. Nous sommes passés devant mais notre guide ne nous y a pas arrêtés pour privilégier une visite plus authentique : Ecole, rencontre avec des locaux, quelques pas de danse avec des « Guerriers » Zoulous et un guérisseur local ! Certes ça reste touristique mais l’approche est plus naturelle. La visite de l’école fut passionnante. A ne pas manquer (Environ 3h)

A great opportunity to get to know traditional Zulu culture with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Our visit to Veyane Cultural Village was a highlight of our trip to St. Lucia for the whole family. I highly recommend this experience, especially for families. We learned a lot and the kids found it much more interesting than the boat safari. I wish we had known of this earlier and had booked an overnight stay and dinner in the village.

We called by the village on the off chance that we could visit without prior booking and were greeted warmly and it was no problem at all. As a family of four we then had our own private tour.
The tour was a perfect mix of an interesting insight into Zulu lifestyle and traditions as well as humour and participation. The dancing at the end was a real highlight. Highly recommended.

Veyane Cultural village is as ethnic and simple as they come. The Zulu Dancing, entertainment and music is very pleasant. They also have a option to experience the local tour where you can see how the locals live.
The staff is very friendly and can most probably assist you with anything. They prepared a braai for us and had a guide come and explain what they offer. This is a place to visit to unwind and learn about Zulu Culture.

En voyage à Ste Lucia, nous avons découvert par hasard ce village Zoulou.
Nous l'avons visité avec nos enfants (7 ans), et cela restera un super souvenir. Carol nous a appris quelques mots zoulou, nous a présenté le village, les cases, le rôle de chacun, la tenue et les armes des guerriers, la tenue des femmes, célibataires et mariées, les traditions, les objets... Nos filles étaient ravies de revêtir les costumes, et d'écouter toutes les explications sur les coutumes zoulous. A la fin, chants et danses, auxquels nous avons participé. Cela restera un super souvenir pour toute la famille, je le conseille!

Einblicke in das „echte Leben“ der Einheimischen durch eine geführte Tour empfinde ich auf Reisen oft als unangenehm, weil es einfach zu aufgesetzt abläuft. Umso angenehmer war Besuch im Veyane Cultural Village. Über unsere Unterkunft in St. Lucia buchten wir spontan einen kurzen Ausflug, der nur etwa 2 Stunden dauern sollte. Eine gute Stunde später holte uns unsere Führerin samt Fahrerin vor dem Gästehaus ab und wir fuhren zunächst in das heutige Dorf knapp 15 Minuten entfernt und besuchten eine Wahrsagerin. Hier zeigte Anda schon ein ganz tolles Gespür, uns gut in die Kultur der Zulu einzuführen, brachte uns diverse Vokabeln bei (die wir im Folgenden fleißig durcheinander warfen…) und erzählte viel zu den Herausforderungen des heutigen Südafrikas. All das war herzlich und Anda überaus reflektiert in ihren Ausführungen. So war auch unsere Führung durch das eigentliche Museumsdorf inklusive kurzer Verkleidung als Zulu-König sowie der Gesangs- und Tanzshow (eine kurze aktive Beteiligung der Gäste wird erwartet!) am Ende ganz zwanglos und wirkte trotz des musealen Charakters sehr authentisch. Schließlich brachte uns Anda zurück zu unserer Unterkunft und der von uns eher als Nebenpunkt bewertete Ausflug wurde zu einem der schönsten Momente unserer Südafrika-Rundreise.

We recently did a bicycle tour of the village, we saw the new and old parts of the village. Learnt a little of the zulu culture We met a healer and also planted a tree- a high light of our visit. There is a small shop/information centre,we talked to the woman manning the shop, Angel- she undoubtedly is the villages' best asset, a remarkable young woman, we really enjoyed meeting and talking to her and really hope the aspirations the villagers have for their future come to pass
