Amazing food tour!

Our food tour with Gilbert was definitely a highlight during our Cape Town stay. It was the first activity we had scheduled for when we landed. It was such a great decision. We felt like locals, eating at so many different places and learning the culture. We literally felt we were “living the day in the life” of a local! We loved the pace of the tour and the variety of the food. It was delicious and delightful. Book with Gilbert, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a very interesting tour in capetown. First a visit to District 6 and later in Woodstock. Gilbert our guide was a very knowledgeable happy person and an enthusiastic one too. We saw another side of town. The koeksisters tasted lovely. A perfect ending of our tour.

Perfect city tour of Cape Town

Sebastian is an amazingly knowledgeable, communicative and entertaining tour guide. He showed us parts of the city we had never seen before, openly spoke about the gruels of the apartheid era and discussed the state of South Africa today. It was a perfect day with Sebastian, who is also just a perfectly likable person. Thanks for an amazing day, Sebastian!

Our guide Theo Dennis was excellent. His commentary was right on point and quite informative. Highly recommended as a guide.

Awesome Guide

Elizabeth was the best guide we have ever had and that is not to take away for many of the local guides we have encountered on our trips abroad as they have all been without a doubt passionate about their work but Elizabeth brings a unique gift of not only her immense knowledge but this wonderful warmth that makes going with her similar to going out with your best friend who takes you to all these fabulous places to see and share experiences and make wonderful memories and boy does she know the best places for food and coffee and deserts \uD83D\uDE0B\nWe had the best day experience with Elizabeth and without a doubt we would recommend her as \u201Cawesome\u201D and we hope to see her again on our next trip to SA

Wonderful day

Christoper was such a joy to spend the day with! He picked us up at our hotel promptly and the fun began the minute we were safely in his car.

Appreciated his ability to share information as we drove to many interesting sights. His driving is exceptional-always felt very safe and appreciative of the care he took of us. The highlight of our day was our stop for lunch and being able to sit and talk over a glass of wine. He is a walking encyclopedia of information. He truly cared about our experience.

Best tour experience

My mom (76 yo) and I (52 yo) travel frequently -we have done food tours in New Zealand, Prague, Budapest, Rome, and Barcelona…and this was our favorite. Our favorite because of our guide, Gilbert.

Gilbert was the key to our enjoyment of the this food tour but even more so, our enjoyment of Cape Town. He took us to local places that we would have never, ever stepped a foot into. We tried so many new things. More importantly though, we learned about Gilbert’s life experiences. The time with him will have forever changed us.

Thank you Gilbert for such an amazing day! Choose him and you will learn and experience new things. Life changing.

Sebastian was an honest and informed man who had obviously considered the historical evidence and that the future is not about the history but about the knowledge of the the history moving forward to better and more accepting times.

Great tour

We are in our 70’s. Dev went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and guided thru all stops.
He went at our pace and with our interests in mind.
Highly recommend him
