I spend an afternoon with Amelia, wondering around, shooting picture around some really cool neighborhoods in BA. Before the tour , Amelia was interested in knowing what I wanted to see. She took me of the beaten track and we took some great shots that will be great memories. She has a great eye for seeing things that are not obvious. Thanks for the great experience !

While recently laying over for a day in Buenos Aires, while enroute to Antarctica, my son and I did a walking tour with Amelia. At our request she put together a “street walk” so we could explore learning a new type of photography, but one that she’s quite accomplished with. It was a casual stroll through several of BA’s neighborhoods with a short stop for drinks and some small bites. All along the way she gave us advice and tips to help us practice and improve our techniques. She also provided a lot of useful information about photographing in Antarctica (check out the gallery on her website). I would highly recommend connecting with Amelia and Day Clicker Photo Tours whenever you’re in Buenos Aires.

My colleague and I had a really enjoyable afternoon with Amelia wandering around the murals of Palermo Soho, the colourful and touristy La Boca and then to San Telmo market. It was a nice paced afternoon and we both really enjoyed talking to Amelia and finding out more about Buenos Aires. Amelia, like is, enjoys a nice cold beer and she took us to a great beer and empanada place in San Telmo market to end the afternoon. The tour was a great introduction to a fabulous city and we would thoroughly recommend Amelia.

Buenos Aires is full of pictures to be discoverd -and taken. I had a rewarding day walking and taking the medtro with Day Clicker Photo Tours. We took our time and really observed the city with it's fascinating murals, architecture, and above all else, it's people. Highly recommended.

I booked a group tour with Amelia but since it is the low season, it was only me that booked so it ended up being a one-on-one day. I enjoyed that but it was an extra $30 USD because of that, which she did tell me in advance.
We met at a coffee shop in Palermo Soho and chatted about settings and my photography knowledge. We walked around for hours along the streets of Palermo taking photos and her giving me advice. I am pretty much a beginner so she was great and I used the manual setting for the first time. I definitely saw a lot of cool things on the streets and it was fun walking around, talking with Amelia and taking pictures. It was a very pricey day for me but I did learn a great deal!

I had the pleasure of working with Amelia to schedule a photo shoot with tango dancers during my trip to Buenos Aires. Amelia made the process easy, and she put me in touch with two professional, attractive dancers who were absolutely open to all of my photo shoot ideas. Amelia helped translate during the shoot as I do not speak Spanish, and facilitated my communication with the dancers. She found locations for the shoot and was helpful in all regards. I wish more cities had such a service available. I would highly recommend working with Amelia if you are a photographer like myself looking to set up a photo shoot.

First of all, Amelia is extremely likeable and easy to get along with. The day of our tour, there was very heavy rain in BA so we passed time in the coffee shop. One option was to go to the book store in the old theatre. Interesting but not the street photography I had signed up for plus apart from upping the ISO, I wasn't given instruction on taking photos. When the rain subsided enough for us to hit the streets, the area she took me too was fine but it felt more like walking around with a friend, chatting away, rather than being given in depth instruction on improving my photography skills. She had pointed out to me in the coffee shop that she is a Nikon user (I have a Canon) and I got little technical instruction which is what I was expecting from the website. She was very streetwise and was straight on it when a potential child mugger sprayed perfume in my face as a distraction technique. Fortunately I was following Amelias lead and had my camera strap firmly around my wrist so he was not able to steal it. So mixed feelings really, it may have been totally different had the weather been more favourable.

Amelia is a personable and lovely guide. She took me on an extended walking tour in a residential neighborhood that I would never have discovered on my own. We entered various stores and encountered and met some of the artisans. This is more of a street photography tour as you won't see postcard attractions. You will, however, see how middle to upper class Portenos live. If you want to get a real Buenos Aires tour you won't get wrong with this one.

I had an "open" day in Buenos Aires and was looking for something different to do. I am an amateur photographer trying to improve my skills. I especially like taking photographs of people and street scenes. I located Day Clicker on line. After an exchange of e-mails, we arranged a private tour. Amelia and I spent about 5 hours exploring some of the neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. We walked a lot but it was wonderful. I generally don't like cities -- but by seeing neighborhoods I got a better sense of life (and art) in Buenos Aires. Not only did Amelia show me some very picturesque street art but she visited various shopkeepers she knew (a butcher, empanada maker, a fruit/vegetable vendor, a pastry cook) -- more photo ops. All in all a wonderful day and one of the great memories of my trip to Argentina. I would highly recommend Amelia and Day Clicker.
